only if you really find nothing better.. good if you catch the ferry at Gills. But all looks so..sad! And the dinner was made from frozen food. Nothing that could explane the high costs.

Don't judge the Hotel by its outside appearance. It is an old building and could maybe do with updating for some people but we found it clean, comfortable and friendly. Food was very good and Keiss is lovely to stroll round after dinner, weather permitting. Only about 5-10 mins from John 0'Groats so very handy for the ferry to Orkney. Staff very informative and friendly.

Loud music was playing in the Bar beneath our bedroom until 2 a.m. We had asked for a twin room and maybe this was the only one they had but they could have warned us that there would be music. Apart from that we had no complaints.

The hotel had a lot of charm and the staff was very friendly.

In the middle of nowhere

Very warm and friendly family run Hotel.

We travelled as a party of three on motorcycles visiting John o'groats on a five day tour. This place was great for us, three single beds in one room kept the cost down. Ample parking and bar on the premises was also a bonus. We also had private separate bathroom. No frills but who wants or expects them on a budget. Excellent breakfast too. Well recommended.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean rooms. Friendly staff, very good service and very good value for money. Keiss is located amongst farmland, so is very peaceful and there are spectacular beach and coastal views. The surrounding area is rich in history and culture.

The town of Keiss (pronounced "Keess" according the locals) is very small, comprising several streets. The Sinclair Bay Hotel is the only option in the town for food, accommodation or entertainment that we could see. Keiss is about a 10 minute drive from Wick, however, which has many more amenities.

The Sinclair Bay Hotel is not an elaborate hotel, but the grace, courtesy, and hospitality shown by the staff make me want to return. To Dawn and Colin I say: "Slàinte mhath!"

Posto molto caratteristico e accogliente, staff (in realtà si tratta di un'unica ragazza giovane) disponibile e molto gentile.

Il bagno in camera aveva la doccia fuori uso, bisognava usare quella del bagno in comune (che però era una vasca)

Posto davvero caratteristico molti biscotti in camera
