The location and value for money, room was lovely and had everything we needed i will definitely be coming back to stay x
Single glazed windows = noisy Restaurant/Breakfast erratic service, not great, could be improved
The hotel in the centre of Liverpool! 2minutes away on foot of the main streets (shopping), 5 minutes walk to the docks; Good continental breakfast and the employees very friendly. Alwa ys cookies and tea on the room!
Liverpool in recognized by the night ! Too many noise making by the boys/girls, because the hotel it's localizated near a street wich had many bars (cavern, etc) and the rooms doesnt have double glass.
Lovely friendly staff, very helpful & polite. Generous size room with very good ensuite shower room. Excellent breakfast.
Not ideal if you are a light sleeper! Didn't bother us but was very noisy outside in the evening. Didn't spoil our stay as we were forwarned.
Easy access to train and bus station as well as various tourist attractions around the city centre.
Some of the staff were unobservant of a solo traveller and hence on occasions felt ignored
The location, the friendly staff, the bar its very relaxing, the rooms are comfortable ,I look forward to returning.
The bed side lamps were just for show id have liked them to work, there were no extra pillows in room, and the tv was not the easiest to work.
Window wouldn't shut so we could hear the clubs and bars as if we were there. Mould around the shower, wifi didn't work. Not great value for money.
Lots of character
Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit tatty
We stayed here for 3 nights in August for my other half's 50th birthday. What a treat this hotel was, clean, with friendly & very helpful staff, our room on the 2nd floor was fab, very spacious, we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely & plenty of it, and the dining room was very nicely set out & immaculate, we were booked for continental breakfast but opted to pay extra for the full English, yum!! Loved that the town centre was only a 5 minute walk away, couldn't believe how central the hotel is. We definitely recommend the Sir Thomas Hotel to potential travellers & we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our weekend in Liverpool fabulous.
Couldn't connect to the hotel wi-fi :( No complimentary toiletries, but I can live with that
Me and my partner have stayed here many times before as we love it here. The staff are so friendly and approachable and anything we ask for they are always so happy to help. The style of the hotel is really nice as it has been refurbished since we last stayed. Our room was very spacious and had all the essentials we needed. This was excellent value for money and we always recommend this hotel to our friends. We look forward to staying here again soon.
We found nothing negative about our stay here.
Great location. Lovely staff. New renovated. Will definitely be staying again.
Wifi not working switches of after 2 mins and you have to reconnect again for another 2 mins. Was woken up every morning around 6-7 with empty bottles being collected out on street.
Large clean room with great shower in bathroom. Murals on walls depicting radical past of Liverpool's trades unions was a lovely surprise.
Buffet breakfast pastries not that good other than that it was O/K.
great location rooms comfortable the staff helpful and friendly, would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to friends.
Very central staff friendly clean and comfortable
TV not tuned in and couldn't access wifi in bedroom
Being close to the shops and night life. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful. We had a great weekend and will be back very soon
The only thing is the noise at night due being close to the night life. We had to keep the window open as the room was too warm
Nice big room, comfy beds, huge tv
Shower wasn't great in twin room, shower curtain was very dirty at the bottom. Staff ok, not overly helpful or forthcoming.
The building was great - a converted old bank with unusual old socialist/ volunteer wall hangings. It felt very unique and for such a great price.
Really fantastic sweeping staircase up to room, i booked at night so wen i arrived it was lit beautifully and it was so quiet! Never heard any other guest or any street noise, will book again.
Not enough towels and no music channels on the plasma tv, the tv was amazing though, and it was very hot in room and there was no way of cooling it down.
Location Friendly staff Value for money
Noisy corner room
Virtually everything was spot-on.
This is a listed building, therefore they're not permitted to install double glazing. As a result, we barely slept a wink due to the music from a nearby club, drunk people on the street & even seagulls! Our stay was a Monday night too so it's surely even worse of a weekend. A real shame as that's a deal-breaker and yet it's out if their hands.
I can't say enough good about the staff, extremely helpful and friendly. I have stayed at this hotel for about 7-8 times and going back in December. The location is FABULOUS! you are literally 2 minutes down town, wich is great since i tend to do a bit of shopping while i stay in Liverpool.
The room could have been cleener, but for the price we didn't really think much of it.
Bathroom unclean all week and road was facing main road unable to sleep
Location was perfect
Breakfast is additional price for hot breakfast and buffet wasn't refilled and poor selection. Fruit would be nicer if was made into a fruit salad and if yogurt was kept cool.
The location was great and food nice
The room was very small for two people and very stuffy. We could only open the window a very small bit and I had to use a jar of my cream to keep it open.
all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. Food good.
It was extremely noisy late at night and for this reason I probably would not stay there again or recommend it to friends.
