Six Hills is in need of refurbishment and updating, but the staff were friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. It was value for money.

The hotel was disgusting. Smelt of stale smoke and the "bridle suite" was nothing of the sort. Absolutely vile. Never again Everything

I have stayed in various hotels with my boyfriend as a young couple and we are usually approached by hotel staff as troublesome teenagers. On arrival at the Six Hills we had a warm and friendly greeting, the staff member who checked us in really took time to converse with us and made us feel happy and welcomed after our long drive. Our hotel room was clean and basic, there was nothing more we could have wanted or needed in our room for the price we paid. In the morning my boyfriend asked at reception for an iron and it was brought prompty to our room. The unstereotypical approach taken by staff, we were treated as any other guest would of been. Our age was put to one side and we were treated fairly and kindly.

The Staff were very Friendly and helpful. It is quite a long way from any other food or drink outlet limiting choice for meals to hotel food.

It's quite good for a hotel of this price. Nice friendly staff, clean rooms and food ok. My TV didn't work but I was given the choice of moving to another room which I did. Unfortunately it's by the main dual carriageway and noisy first thing in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and inviting. The family room we stayed in was a little dated and unloved. The mattress was uncomfortable and we did not sleep well at all.

We travelled up to Liecestershire wanting a hotel for the night near Melton Mowbray. Albeit the otherside of the town. However we managed to get a room at this hotel. So I booked it. Then I read the 'reviews'... seriously considered cancelling! but there really wasn't any thing else around for the night we needed. We went to the hotel after midnight were greeted warmly by the night receptionist and then went to our room. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and it was all we needed. Yes it does need a lick of paint and a bit of love but for the money it was good. When I got home and unpacked my things realised my wedding ring wasn't with my other jewellery so I rang the hotel and explained where I had taken it off. The receptionist went straight to the room then rang me back and said she had found it! I was so relieved as it is a disigner ring and irreplaceable. They are sending it down recorded delivery to my house. That is what I call service! The shower had no pressure at all so had a bath instead. It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but that facility isn't there over a weekend.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good rooms I found the pillows very hard! I couldn.t get my shower to work. I was near to the fire door which made it very noisy at bedtime as people were coming up after the party- not the fault of the hotel of course.

They accept pets. Nightporter Mick very helpful, friendly, good customer service The receptionist was covering various duties, we went to get a drink at the bar, but couldnt get what we wanted because she hadnt been trained on how to change barrels for draught drinks, and had no idea where the wine was.Lack of management on duty, and staff training. No food available the nearest village is a good distance away, and the shop was shut.

The staff were pretty decent. When we asked for an Iron and takeaway menus they got them for us pretty fast. I did not like the fact that the bed was harder than an ironing board, the pictures on the advertisement showed 4poster bed & flatscreen TVs etc, I got a little Beko Tv, 15" and a horrific bed. The shower/bath did not dispense cold water and the toilet did not flush correctly.
