Price, Location, paid extra £2.5 for tea & coffee making facilities. Room was warm and clean. I would recommend as this is good value. (Bring your own tea/coffee and they don't charge for the kettle). Ate at The Crown in Asfordby (village on the way to Melton) - very good. Didn't use the wi-fi so can't comment on that.
No food or drink (a Friday/Saturday limitation), continental breakfast was minimal, party on Friday night was very noisy, but didn't affect us in our room, guests returning to their rooms were noisy however.
How can i like anything when they charge money from my account when I still cancelled in advance. Shocking.
Considering I spent a lot of money there over the Christmas period leaving my details with them they still charge me 1 more night I didn't stay. Simply wrong and an arrogant element of greed. Do not stay there.
Excellent price which includes a fantastic cooked breakfast. Accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. Car parking on site, close to main routes. Staff are brilliant and always very good. The chef is excellent and very accommodating. Kettle with tea and coffee can be loaned from the reception desk.
Nothing for what is included.
No coffee in rooms
Clean, hot water , staff attentive , good location
Hotel does need a refurbe but the staff are trying there best
I choose this hotel because there were no extra charge. I would like to see an inspection in the morning to show that the dogs slept in there own Bed and not the hotel bed Any damage to to charge to the card. This would stop anyone who abuses this facility, spoiling it for others
The hotel was suitable for our needs as a 1 night stop over, staff were friendly and rooms comfortable if a little tired looking
The choice for the continental breakfast could have been better, the TV in our room was old with a set top box which didn't work and nobody on site that knew how to sort it
Hotel was warm and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again, and the price was very very reasonable!
Everything was just perfect
Breakfast Bed Price Staff
Lack of Facilities Location
Very welcoming staff abs excellent value that can't be beaten.
We arrived late at night but got a most cheerful welcome, easy checkin. Rooms were basic but were clean and had all we needed.
Very cheap and clean. Loads of free parking.
Had to run around in the shower to get wet. Very very busy A road next to our room, should have handed out ear plugs on check in!
Good wheelchair access. Staff helpful and friendly.
Bathroom not disability friendly toilet too low, basin too high and bath small with no hand rail for shower use.
Very good value for money, convenient location and easy to find, staff were helpful
Very squeaky bed! Low water pressure in the shower
Easy access to A46, both north and south
Cheap cereal at breakfast, but what do you want for £36.50 a night
Location was near A46 and easy to access. Loads of Parking. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, both late at night and for breakfast. Bed linen and towels very clean. Bathroom OK.
Very tatty and run down rooms. No tea/coffee in room. Old style TV with out of date digi-box. Still had BBC news on ch80 ! Credit card machine not working, so lucky I had cash.
staff , beds comfortable ,not alot around but there was a excellent restaurant called cafe mash just 5mins down the road very good value
had a wine and it was gone off and didnt have any more
The receptionist was very kind and very friendly. The fight was dealt with fairly quickly
The room was filthy with mould on windows and cobwebs.TV not plugged in or tuned. There was a fight in the next room to us. We were frightened. Smoke alarms went off twice. Nobody was in the room when we went in for breakfast which was poor. Only one slice of white bread. No one came anywhere near us. Dreadful experience. We nearly got up and went home in the middle of the night but we were visiting friends in the area the next day.
Tv was there a very old box type with a freeview box that did not work, no kettle or tea and coffee
You get what you pay for no frills, beds comfy, hot water and staff friendly.
The road noise but that's what you expect so no surprises there, place a bit run down but again this reflects in the price.
I asked for a quiet room and was politely moved from the main room to overlooking the car park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very reasonable cost for a single person and a nice double bed.
There was an extra charge of £2.50 for tea making facilities. The was a constant sound of running water coming from the wall at my bed-head. Presumably the central heating. Very noisy other guests.
Friendly staff easy to find
Traffic and no warning of party on second night
Room was small cramped family room When we arrived we were informed there was no kettle or tea/coffee in room and if we wanted it we would have to pay another £2-50 even though I needed hot water for my baby in the night There were other guests playing music and slamming doors constantly through the night
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Clean and tidy throughout. Lovely location very peaceful and quite.
Could only get wifi in reception area and the restaurant
