Excellent service, 5* - rooms, best breakfast ever had in Scotland

Just about everything. The welcome from Thomas was outstanding. He couldn't do enough for us. The Hotel itself is very comfortable. It is warm, clean and very well decorated. The beds are sublime and the breakfast excellent. I will recommend this Hotel to anyone who is interested. It is quite exceptional.

Nothing. It is simply superb and we have stayed in many Hotels in many Countries. This was the best we've stayed in.

Skerrols House was flawless, impeccably furnished and decorated with luxury comforts. The rooms were delightful and exactly what you saw on the website. In fact, in person they were more impressive. The bathroom was huge complete with full bath and separate large power shower, I especially loved that it had a window into the gardens. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in with the linen fresh and spotless. The communal facilities were lovely, although we didn't have time to enjoy they were very homely indeed. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous with a wide spread of food catering for all tastes and diets. I cannot fault a thing. The staff were friendly, relaxed and happy creating a comfortable home away from home environment. They worked very hard but appeared to enjoy their work very much.

There is nothing not to like about Skerrols House.

Very clean rooms with friendly people, quiet location in a wonderful part of the Island. Will be back at some point.

Everything in Skerrols House is wonderful, but one of the best things was the breakfast!

Wow. 10/10 experience. I've beer before had such a warm welcome at such a luxurious place. Staff, rooms, all is impeccable in style. I've read mixed reviews yet our stay was perfect. Bathroom was bigger than some of the b&b rooms I've slept in during my vacation in Scotland. All very luxurious and cosy. It really feels like your own country home, not some formal place you have to stay. Super location in the countryside. Both informal and fitting like an old pair of jeans while beig incredibly posh and stylish. Great, no, fantastic bed and etremely friendly service. It really doesn't get any better than this. Oh, forgot to mention the super-delicious breakfast - a wealth of fresh fruits and delicious scrambled eggs with salmon. Very very good. Will go to no other place while visiting Islay.

Perhaps consider making it a hotel/restaurant, like the Crab in Chievely. It would bring more business and would add the charm of a full kitchen with a great cook to match the rest. M

Beautiful and comfortable accomodation...nice location....top quality....great breakfast too.

It can not get better than this. On the paper a bit pricy but worth every penny. What is shown on their site is 100% correct. The rooms are very comfortable and top notch. The breakfast is worth a price by itself and really lives up to the advertisement.

On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome, our room was spotless with a great view, the breakfasts were very nice with a good selection of fruit etc and the lounge was well stocked with interesting books covering the island. Wi-fi was also available for the 'need to be connected' folks. The weather was beautiful for us, but if you were unlucky to get a really wet day, there is a 'boot room' for drying off boots and wet clothes as well as providing guests with the use of washing machines.

We liked the warm friendly reception, courteous staff, excellent accomodations and first class breakfast.

Ann was an absolutel joy and couldn't have done more to help us. Getting us a dinner reservation at the Bridgend Hotel after they had stopped serving dinner for the night and then offering us a dram of Kilchoman by the fire after we got home went above and beyond the call of duty.

A little hard to find. A sign post on the main road would have been perfect. However, we called the house from Bridgend and Ann guided us back to the accommodation.

Tomusは親切で感じが大変良かった。部屋も綺麗で、バスルームが別部屋になっているがこちらも清潔で好- 感が持てる。

部屋の暖房が故障していたため多少寒かった。あとは、空港から場所を見つけるのがなかなか大変だった。（空- 港側から看板が見えないようになっている。）

het is een prachtige gerestaureerde woning, met een hele, mooie ruime zitplaats voor de gasten en hele mooie kamers!!!!

La qualité des prestation, du service, le calme. La déco, sobre mais pleine de charmes.

Vi gillade allt, finns inget att klaga på, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, jättefina rum, fantastisk frukost:-) Mycket hög klass!! Ligger lite avsides........men ändå rätt nära, men det väljer ju man själv,!!

En förbättring: Läslampor vid sängen......inget stort problem!!
