Clean, location, staff, all good
Waiting half an hour for a pre dinner drink went else where, after a 5 hour drive not impressed.
Good clean room and hospitable signing in and marvelous dinner, well presented. Good breakfast and just right to start the day. We will stay again.
That we couldn't stay longer!
efficient transfer to Gatwick and on the return pickup the driver went out of his way to help with directions to the motorway and also helped to de ice our car. Hotel very clean and friendly staff.
The price is very reasonable and the rooms clean and comfortable; we particularly appreciated the provision of decaffeinated coffee, as well as ordinary coffee, with the kettle and cups in the room (suitable for use late evening). Staff on Reception were friendly and efficient.
No complaints at all
Everything and plenty of parking spaces
Payment taken was taken twice on my bank card causing me a problem. So that needs resolving as foreign transactions are not the same as UK
The attached Indian restaurant and included car parking.
Bed was comfortable
Not very friendly Water in bathroom was cold The soap dispenser broke in my hand in the shower We were woken by housekeeping at 8am on NY Day when they came into our room
comfortable bed , clean, tidy and excellent price £44!
Contacted the manager as very disappointed but still no reply, horrible experience, sink blocked, shower cold, hairs on kettle ect.
The staff were courtsous and the transport came to collect me from the airport very quickly after I'd requested it. I thought the hotel was good value for money.
I had a phone call from Reception at 10.30pm that night, which woke me up (asking about taxis the next morning)! The water pressure is very low on the second floor and it takes a long time for the hot water to come through.
Food was excellent
The fact that payment for my hotel bill was taken twice was a major problem for me and I could not reliably feel confident to pay by card as the same happened in the restaurant.
The Position very easy to get to Gatwick North, our room was quiet
Hotel a bit well used, the air con took a long time to heat the room, the restaurant was a bit expensive and had a limited choice, the car park was very muddy
The Indian evening meal was very tasty. The location was OK for Gatwick airport.
The staff were unhelpful, and didn't make eye contact when talking to you. The toilet seat was broken. You couldn't sit on the toilet as half of it was under the hand basin. The shower was terrible, with nothing more than a dribble of water (and I mean a dribble). It took 46 seconds to fill a tea cup with water. The bed was uncomfortable and very soft. The velux window wouldn't stay open, so you couldn't aerate the room. The hand basin was too small to use for washing or shaving. The breakfast was awful, with cold food and cheap ingredients. The bread at breakfast was mouldy. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.
Close to airport. Reasonable size room with good TV and hot drinks facilities. Rooms were quiet. Competitively priced.
Velux type window was in bad repair and couldn't be opened. Sliding curtain was broken with screws holding it all to gether. Shower mixer tap was useless - the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold - we both gave up eventually. Could not get wifi to connect.
Cheap, inclusive parking make this appear good VFM
Shower in the room didn't work. The other room we were given access to had a shower than ran like a dribbling tap. Useless. The restaurant service was poor. We did not receive what we ordered and one dish had a long black hair in it. They then automatically added a £12 service charge. Cheeky.
Location Quick and efficient check in
Lack of water pressure in bath/shower. No hot water at all in the morning through bath, shower or sink
Able to request ground floor accommodation Conviently placed for airport ,local Sainsburys and 2 great pubs ..The Old Six Bells and The Farmers Arms Onsite parking and transfers to airport Obliging staff and great value for money Spotlessly clean
Nothing! Would definately stay here again
Nice reception area. Room good size, lovely comfy bed and plenty tea/coffee provided. Would stay here again.
Car park bit untidy, poor surface and not very well laid out
good location for my needs
breakfast only 7-9 am.. and was being cleared away by 10 to nine. However food Ok needs more healthy food options.!!
Attached Indian & English restaurant. Tea & coffee cold though
Having to leave.
Ease of location to airport
Restaurant stopped serving at 9th so we missed having any food the night before we flew out
Our room was clean, tidy and fairly comfortable. The hotel as been spruced up since we last stayed. Nice reception area. Very busy carp ark but we just managed to find a space. Checkout staff were excellent and did apologise for the early morning interruption
Not very welcoming on our arrival at reception. No Bar open when we returned to our hotel at10pm, and were told we could not have a drink, a hotel at the weekend, unreal. Our room was entered at 7am in the morning whilst we were still in bed by the cleaners. Breakfast waiter 1st morning was completely obnoxious and rude.
Everything was 100% No problems what so ever would recommend this hotel beds to die for. Very very clean quiet rooms a perfect way to start your holiday.car parking on site.transfer at 0600 no problem only 10 mins away from gatwick!
The hotel is run on a shoestring with miserable unfriendly staff. The pick up service from the airport is a joke. When you complain to the Manager he is arrogant and disinterested. I wrote to Wyndhams, the owners to complain but got no reply. The Days Inn manager offered me 10% discount for our next overnight stay at the hotel in January. I told him that we wouldn't stay there again, even for free. We have now booked with another Gatwick hotel. There are better budget hotels to consider that provide a professional, caring service.
