Close to Gatwick airport, cost of a taxi was £10 took approx 5 mins. Staff, one very rude and aggressive member of there staff was the lounge barman known as abdoul, I made a comment that the food order was wrong and to cut a long story short he just said what you going to about it ! I made a complaint at the hotel reception and also spoke with the hotel manager over the telephone, as did the barman and he still refused to appoligise point blank when asked by he hotel manager. I mace a formal complaint and as yet have not received a reply from the hotel manager. But I did say I would make one via Booking .com as well.

The price of shuttle service was raised without notice. I stayed at the hotel 6 days earlier and paid a lower price.

We got the room for a good price, location good for airport. However we felt there were faults. We were on the ground floor and it smelt of damp in hall way and in bedroom so we slept with window open, problem in bar it took 20 mins to get 4 drinks, with 1 person in front, nobody seemed to know how to serve drinks, food not that good also service, not enough staff on.so I have to say experience quite poor

Website claims that transfers from hotel to Gatwick Airport are free - in practice we were charged £3.00 per person. Not a great problem, but why try to mislead customers?

Helpful staff booked cab to airport for me and put letters in post. Free shuttle bus over-occupied (we werent able to make use of it, and this was one of the considerations of the booking.) The shuttle bus broke down which meant that guests needed taxis. It didnt appear that they were being looked after.

Location, value for money, well appointed rooms, reasonably comfortable, have stayed here many times when working within a 20 mile radius. In some rooms the beds are very low to the ground, in all rooms the water pressure is on the low side, but still very good value for money

This is a basic hotel room at best, the only that could be said for it would be that it is close to Gatwick if you needed it. The facilities are sparse which is compounded by the less than friendly and helpful staff. Customer service seems to be their last priority as your payment is collected up front.

The hotel was located in a quiet part of London and was convenient to Gatwick airport and bus/train stations. The room was very clean and comfortable, excellent value for money. Would stay again if I was taking another city break with kids.

I liked that the room was nice and clean the staff were very helpful and it just was a pleasant hotel to stay at and when I had a little issue with the restaurant attached to the hotel the hotel management did more than they could so it did not effect the comfort of my stay. I disliked the restaurant although the food was lovely it took too long to be prepared we were over 45min waiting for our food and then my food had a foreign object in it and it nearly broke my tooth and the staff attitude was no that didn't come from our kitchen? and that was it a real so what attitude and the hotel management had to take the flack for it and it stopped me from purchasing food from the restaurant again on my second visit to the hotel.

Not impressed Our room was not cleaned properly so we were shown 5 other rooms in which all were not acceptable in cleanliness... The carpets were not vacuumed, the bathrooms had hair behind the door on the floor and the desk and tv had oily fingerprint residue. We were not offered a refund nor discount and had no choice but to take the best room we were offered. We were not offered assistance to move our luggage to the new room. The manager was not courtious as when my sister was trying to hold the hallway door open so she could get through with her luggage the manager walked past letting her hold the door open for him...how rude. I did make a not of this to him. We had to take toilet paper from our old room as there was only a few sheets of toilet paper in our new room with no extra rolls. The bathroom sink was plugged. We were not at all impressed with this hotel and think we should have been offered a discount or refund. I do not know how this hotel will stay in business given the poor management. The cleaners sit in the rooms chatting with each other messing about... Very unprofessional! I will not recomend this hotel ever! Also not health and safety contious as the hallway outside our room had very dim low lighting you could hardly see ... not safe at all! Also the shuttle bus driver had his music blaring... Not very professional at all. So not impressed do not stay there!
