Days Hotel Gatwick  

Close to Gatwick airport, cost of a taxi was £10 took approx 5 mins.

Staff, one very rude and aggressive member of there staff was the lounge barman known as abdoul, I made a comment that the food order was wrong and to cut a long story short he just said what you going to about it ! I made a complaint at the hotel reception and also spoke with the hotel manager over the telephone, as did the barman and he still refused to appoligise point blank when asked by he hotel manager. I mace a formal complaint and as yet have not received a reply from the hotel manager. But I did say I would make one via Booking .com as well.

We were able to book a quadruple room. We were three cousins staying overnight before a funeral and it was lovely to all be able to share the same room, without actually having to share a bed.

We arrived just before 10pm and food had stopped being served. We managed to get a sandwich made but it was very poor.

Very close to airport - short journey 7-10 mins. Staff very friendly - especially driver of shuttle bus - very helpful. Very good value and breakfast included.

Was unaware that you should call for the shuttle bus from the Airport. Had thought from the confirmation note that the shuttle bus came to the airport every 30 mins. Had to wait 40 mins on a very cold night. A spacious ground floor room given to us. Bathroom designed for disabled though not too sure how anyone who was in a wheel chair could have used the hand basin. Also the very heavy shower handle fell off into the bath tub when I tried to use it. Would probably have broken a toe - if I hadn't jumped back. The view out the window was awful - as vegitation was growing up the walls. (But we weren't there for the view). Also we were unable to open the lower windows.

Convenient to gatwick

Well designed,clean room, with soft comfortable bed, flat sceen TV, nice bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities in room, heating and air conditioning. Good car parking and good location near gatwick airport. Friendly staff. Excellent Restaurant downstairs, the food was very good.

Only things we didn't like were: we booked 2 nights then needed to stay 3 and they increased the room rate for the extra day from £55 to £65! I travel all around the world and have never experienced this before, there is a list of the hotel servic'e in a book in the room which says they offer a free transfer service to nearby gatwick airport. I think this was also shown on your website. This was not the case and we were charged £8. It's a shame they spoilt a good stay with these two points. But otherwise an excellent hotel.

Nice quiet hotel in a good location not far from gatwick airport.

The room was ok as you would expect for a budget hotel.

Service at breakfast was appalling with no places set and waiter literally throwing knives and forks at us. The self-service area was extremely messy. Would advise to go 'room only' as not value for money.

Close to Gatwick airport for onward flight. Room clean and modern design with tea/coffee making facilities. Beds comfortable - good nights sleep.

Its good value for money wiyh the coutesy bus as well to and from airport for a small fare.The staff are alwaya pleasant . they do a reasonable price evening meal which you can relax in the lounge and enjoy a drink . The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Bed was awful! The shuttle to the airport wast supposed to be free... I've been charged 12 pounds by the hotel
