Bedding was not clean and in the end we slept on top of the bed using a blanket out of our car. Duvets comprised of sheets wrapped round blankets which smelt of tobacco. Cheapest room available but you get what you pay for.
Room was massive
Eggs weren't cooked
Great guy on reception, nothing too much trouble
Tatty room, shower enclosure was pretty disgusting, cracked tiles, mould on walls etc, in desperate need of some TLC. Door closer falling off. Tatty wardrobe
Size of the room - The room I stayed in was massive. I had 2 2 seater sofas, a 1 seater, a kingsize bed, a massive bathroom and loads of space. There is a bar and restrant on site, they do takeaway too, the quality of food is really good.
The hotel is split into 2 buildings, I was in the secondary bit of the hotel. Every morning it smelt like s**t. You can hear everything from everywhere in that part of the hotel, not very good when you want to sleep early.
Fan in bedroom.
Fleece throws in linen instead of duvet. Bathroom was a work in progress. Staff not very welcoming and friendly.
The room was newly renovated, clean and airy. The Italian restaurant within the hotel was excellent. When we are next in the UK we will definitely stay at Skyways...
I liked cause it's affordable and very clean room but food wasn't good in that pub, just try to improve the food
Tv access and location.
Breakfast, size of room, quality of bed.
Mouldy bathroom Smell as you walked into hotel block
Close to Thorpe park
The room needed a little work done on it.
The hotel and the bar restaurant area are separate entities. Downstairs, in the bar and 'Italian' restaurant, all is new. Large screen viewing lounge and a three table pool room which also act as waiting areas for tyhe 'Italian' takeaways. Bar and menu prices are fine as is the service and the food. Breakfast is taken in the Italian section. Cereals, fruit juice and toast readily available and a cooked 'full English' served within minutes. One small sausage, one rasher of bacon, one fried egg and one tinned plum tomato. Served with a smile and small pot of coffee.
Upstairs, everything is tired and knocked about from years of use. All the floors creak; you hear everyone's movements in the corridors and rooms above. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms basically furnished, but the hotel section is very tired and needs refurbishing.
Spacious large room
Razor /light faulty Cooked breakfast on cold plates
Basic hotel with bar and restaurant next door Staff was helpful: they let us take our bicycles to the room
The breakfast was very good.
I booked three single rooms, on our arrival I was told that the hotel had made an error and there was only one single and a twin available, I was then told that we could have the room at a discount and he would only charge us £60 for the twin, this was the same price as on booking.com. The only reason that I accepted the rooms was because we had driven a fair way and it was a bit late to try and find another hotel. The twin room was overlooking the main road and there were some contractors staying at the hotel who decided to sit in the beer garden and make a noise until the early hours. I will not be booking the Skyways Hotel again.
Hotel staff woke us up in morning by making too much noice. They tried to make me give them deposit for the key, and it wasn't part if agreement with booking.com Will never visit again, as the hotel is the type that only wants your money and doesn't care bout customers.make this hotel your last option.
It is nice to have parking and reasonable in house restaurant.
dirty toilet and shower, dirty bed and owner turned the light of when we was having a drink in the bar because he was tired at 8pm
The Hotel is ok
Price and location, comfortable bed
The pillows were so thin that the 3provided stacked together still didn't make one decent pillow. The blanket was just a gorse old fluffy one with a cover thrown on it. Over the bed was a dust covered shelf that we were so scared to sleep under that we slept the wrong way around. The desk in the room also had a thin layer of dust on it. The chair had a loose leg that if you sat on the chair fall over. There was no phone in the room so if we needed something we had to walk all the way down the stairs. The toilet only flushed 50% of the time. We were there on a Tuesday night and there was blaring music until 12pm when we were trying to sleep!!!! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 100% would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
grotty cigarette butts just outside the windows rooms never got cleaned tv in room broken with wires hanging out
friendly staff ,near to LEGOLAND ,good breakfast ,clean ,nice restaurant .good value for money
Single room very small ,
Everthing the room was filthy the bathroom was unuseable the beds were stained the staff were down right rude we didnt even attempt breakfast which we had paid for no wonder reception insisted on payment before we were taken to our room. There was evidence of prostitution in the building and myself & teenage daughter were approached by a male guest very frightening . Booking.com need to erase this hotel from their site immediatly absolutley disgusting booking.com should be ashamed.
convenient for Slough and Windsor.
Dirty room rude staff dirty bathroom
