The hotel waas very clean and staff were friendly.

No it's just annoying having to pay double the price than normal when
there is a race meeting on.

Central to everything we needed, clean and tidy. A lot better hotel now
it has been taken over. A better stay this year than last year. We r

Cleanliness and room well laid out. Staff were efficient

Noise from the industrial estate - poor location - no room service - ran more like a B&B. Get what you pay for - hardly slept as the room felt like there was an earthquake every time a lorry went past - which was quite often. Breakfast was really poor - cooked choice - sausage, bacon, scrambled mushey eggs and beans. If you are a heavy sleeper then not a bad choice re the price.

Good rooms, good location for our requirement.

Breakfast could improve - more variety in the cooked breakfast,
and fresher.

We were on the first floor of the hotel and everytime a lorry went past the bedroom floor shook. The first time it happened, i wondered if there had been a small earthquake.... I'm a little concerned that the hotel isn't structually sound.

Returning from the Elton John concert (Keepmoat Stadium) which is practically next door to the hotel for a drink there was a queue back through the foyer to the entrance.There was only one person serving behind the bar and was also booking guests in aswell.We had to queue for at least 25 mins for a drink.Everyone queueing was complaining.Surely this could be improved when there's a big concert on?

We thought the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable

We felt very sorry for the poor night manager. The hotel was full and it
must have been obvious that most people were at the Elton John concert.
We arrived back at the hotel after the concert and managed to get a
drink from the bar, but then evryone kept piling in and were queueing
upto 30 minutes to be served.The poor man behind the bar was also
checking people in and answering the telephone.

The service for the evening meal on the 2nd day of my stay was exceedingly poor, my request for a side order of vegetables was refused because of lack of stock
