The location was excellent in the heart of Bakewell with easy access to local restaurants. The room was very pleasant. The parking was very tricky as the car parks were small, although the staff were very helpful at finding us a space each day.

Good kitchen area with all necessary facilities. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was cold due to window not shutting and shower door didn't close completely so water leaked out if shower was not directed away from door.

Convenient for town centre, clean, comfortable, good shower. Great base for day walks and close to town centre for an evening meal. Charged for using credit card (£3.50) without notifying. No code in room for wi-fi. Only feather pillows. Kitchen equipment a bit random.

Clean, tidy and modern. Nice view. Car park very close. Location not too bad to village centre. Quiet, not over looked. The place and room etc etc was absolutely fine however when my card was charged a bank fee had ben added even though I used a Visa Debit card that the terms and conditions said would not attract a fee - at time of writing this I am awaiting a second email response to my second request to have the fee refunded.

Everything except wi-fi (see below). Had that been available I would have rated it excellent. Asd it is, only fair. My main reason for booking this apartment was the Free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the signal was so poor I was unable to access it. Wjen I complained I was told by one of the staff that this happened quite often. Many rooms were too far from the router. Everything else about the hotel was fine but I feel to advertise free wi-fi is mis- representation and, had I been bothered to argue, would have felt justified in refusing to pay the full charge. Such a pity as the staff were really nice and the room had all the facilities we needed.

Centrally sited, Sleep Lodge is quick and convenient in a similar manner to an older-styled youth hostel. Rooms are modern and stylish. A busy period seems to throw staff. I now see that a couple of our issues, that were previously reported in March by other visitors, had still not been rectified.

Convieneance of location . Quiet. Although we were aware that the rooms were not serviced it would have be nice to have a fresh towels after 2 days and some one to empty the bins. Not recommended for a stay longer than 2 nights for this reason. Saw absolutely no one during our 4 night stay to ask for assistance. If you are running a business like this then I believe a little personal attention to guest would go along way .

Comforatable, clean room with handy kitchenette Great location - 5 minutes walk into Bakewell, 10 minutes drive to Chatsworth House. Parking available. Overall very good value for money and I would stay again. Although the room was contemporary and modern, it could do with refreshing - fresh coat of paint, tiles re-grouting in the bathroom etc. Kitchenette was fine for a couple of nights, but not sufficient for a longer stay if you are wanting to eat in most nights. Staff were only contactable by telephone, although I do acknowledge that this is a self- catering apartment rather than a hotel.

Good room - good location for walking. We had a dog and not having to walk trhough pulblic rooms was good. It is only a room in a building without normal "hotel" features but did exactly what it said on the tin! Braeakfast - bread, corissantes, coffeee, cereal, yogurt, dleiverde to room at extra cost and all dacilities in the room to store these, and prepare toats etc. Alittle scruffy in the gronds but rooms were fine.

The location was excellent and the rooms we lovely. We really enjoyed it there. I wish they had collected the rubbish from the room, we stayed 4 nights and never had rubbish collected and had to dump it ourselves everyday or it would smell. A few more channels on tv and a guide on how to work it properly would have been good as it was difficult to find the basic channels.
