Limited check in time, earliest is 3pm on arrival. In this day and age most hotels are from 1pm on. Required to be gone out of room at 10:30am is a bit rich for what your getting. No lift in the building, we stayed on the 3rd floor, 60 plus stairs to contend with after coming back from a night out a laugh. Room we stayed in had dirty hand towels in bathroom, dirty sheets on the bed, no hair dryer in room, no wardrope/hangers, the velux window blind only came half way, old tv was covered in dust, trouble with the remote, bed was uncomfortable, mezzanine floor window was held closed by string. Beyond the hotels control the church bells ringing from 7am on the hour, 8am, 9am. Not many shops or open restaurants close to the hotel on a Saturday evening/Sunday morning.Thought £63 for a Saturday night was a bargain before I stayed, looking back now I wouldn't pay more £40 if I had to stay there again.
Good location close to the train station and ferry, easy access into Liverpool within ten minutes by train.
