The room was beautiful for a couple not for a family with a young baby. Perfect location
Room was cold No travel cot in room for baby had to contact reception for 1. Room not child friendly Glass bathroom door
Decent hotel, we stay often. Would go again, as long as they fix the bed !
The bed had seen better days as all I could feel all night was creaking springs in my back.
liked everything bed was really comfortable lovely view
Close to Newcastle Station. SJP and other shopping areas are just between 10-15 mins away. The Q1 n Q2 buses which bring you around Newcastle is outside the station. Very convenient!
The staff were great. Very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The hotel was very nice as well, elevators were very quick, and my room was quite comfortable.
The food was pretty bad. My first meal was a bacon cheeseburger. They forgot the bacon and cheese and the hamburger was burnt so bad on the outside I couldn't actually eat those bits. Another meal I had was the club sandwich. The first half was quite good, the second half had a huge spot of brown vinegar on the bottom slice of bread. I don't like it so I was really put off. The quality of the food needs to be much better for the prices they charge.
Close to the railway station and metro Very convenient to the shops
Breakfast facilities were a little congested
Modern, clean and comfortable. On a quieter street in the city centre and just a couple of minutes from Central Station and taxis.
Staff were excellent, and hotel very clean and updated, Would stay again, very convenient to all, for business or pleasure
Bed and pillows very uncomfortable, I think you should have entrance at back of hotel proceeding from car park, especially for disabled, if there was we did not see it or sign for it..
You can hear the traffic all night long! Also a clunky air conditioning system didn't allow me to have a good nights sleep.
Location and value for money
Very clean, modern hotel, very close to railway station
Bed/ mattress room size, bathroom size
Room was a nice size for the price and very central for the city.
The fire alarms were going off at 11 o clock at night. The staff were rude
Loved the ensuite facilities especially the walk in shower! Booked the superior room and wasn't dissapointed at all. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was great too!
Bed was comfortable, room was modern, spacious enough for what we needed, clean, good service, speedy wifi.
Night was ruined by the poor soundproofing of the rooms. Group of girls came in to the room next door late and kept me awake from 2am til 4am. The bathroom is a bit silly. It's more like a wet room but isn't big enough for that to be plausible, which meant we ended up with water everywhere. Also there is no mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom, which makes it awkward when two people are trying to get ready.
Had end room on floor 3 with brilliant view over city. Very clean and really friendly staff. Will be back!
Impossible to keep floor dry by loo if someone uses the shower.
Having the cleaner let herself in 20 minutes before check out time without knocking whist I was getting dressed and by husband was just out the shower, and the receptions response to this.... "Yeah sorry this happens" The fact the superior room is 2 singles pushed together with a huge gap in the middle and the toilet doors are see through. Not what you want when your husbands sat on the bed and your having a wee!!
Near all the bars an close to the restaurant we had booked a table at
great location in the heart of the city
no parking anywhere near the hotel far better to arrive by train if at all possible
A great, clean, modern hotel with friendly staff and close to the city centre and train station!
N/A - Ideal Hotel!
Hotel is always clean and in a good location with nice bar/restaurant area and staff helpful
Bed hard and poor quality quilt on a cold night. Noise from corridors and outside the building.
Shower was amazing!!
More pillows would be nice and a softer bed
Modern Value for money Clean Free WiFi - Good quality Excellent location
The rooms are not sound-proof, so I could hear the running water of the person in the floor above me showering.
Location - few minutes walk from station, shops and Quayside Light and airy rooms and everything very clean. Good breakfast at a good price. Helpful and friendly staff. Good shower. Wifi that actually works Good instructions in room for heating/air con. Had everything we needed for a short stay.
Quite noisy but it is in the centre of the city. Bed a bit on the hard side for me but comfortable enough and plenty of pillows Great to have a safe in the room but as it's under the bed not so good if your knees creak a bit. Fire alarm going off when in shower getting ready to go see Michael Buble!! Not at all happy but wasn't the hotel's fault.
