Room was poor and very small with a tiny bathroom. The feeling was we were in a cheap place, different compared to the pictures we saw online. Overall quality was acceptable but We will look for another option the next time. There are a lot of chains with rooms often under promotion in London, we just think they can offer better prices for the kind of room we got. Fairly nice staff tho.

This was my fourth stay in last 3 months,really I enjoy it,thanks to all the friendly staff.

it is peacefull area away from the hustle the city, with a bus that stops outside exactly from the hotel entrance to 40 minutes of the central london,and what specifically to oxford street (oxford circus). for someone who can not wait 40 minutes with the same bus go two stops below and spend train and a 15 minutes is in the center. your ticket costing 3 euro (2.40 pounds), but the best interest to issue a do oyster card quick and cheap travel in trains and buses. many clean, lots of hearty breakfast and more helpful staff. everything was perfect!!!!

Spacious rooms. Basic comfort, not sure why there were 5 stars in the description. But everything you really need was there. Was only there 1 night. A small fridge would be useful if staying longer. In a lively area but not noisy. Right by railway but this wasn't bad. Slept well. TV. Pleanty of towels and hot water.Uncomplicated.Helpful staff. 24 hour reception. Parking. Wifi. Good, vibrant atmosphere at breakfast, great range of languages to be heard! Many young to middle aged people.

Room was really ok. Maybe just a bit tired looking. Especially the bathroom. The curtains would have given the room a much better aspect had they been ironed a little and hung properly. As they were it made the room look a bit unloved. Even though it was actually fine.

It was reasonably priced, easy to find with friendly helpful staff.

Staff very efficient and friendly. Very good location with great access to public transport. Stylish and affordable. Continental breakfast - excellent selection. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay for the second time and this is not the last.

The shower gel in the bathroom was empty but a quick call to reception and it was replaced.

It was a freezing cold night, but there was no heating in the room. The reception staff informed us we would have to pay an additional £10 for heat! This was a total rip-off and is, of course, not mentioned on their website or on the booking pages. This is the first time I have heard of a hotel that charges extra for heating. By chance we had an electric heater in the boot of our car so we refused to pay and used that instead. The lift had no inside door so passengers have to make sure they don't lean against the liftshaft walls while the lift is moving. Also the lift stopped between floors twice and was clearly faulty. The room had sloping walls as it was on the top floor beneath an angled roof. This restricted headroom in much of the room. The bathroom appeared to have been built especially for disabled people and had ugly handrails all over the place. There was no shower tray so water tended to spread right across the floor. In addition the shower would only provide anything other than freezing cold water when it was on full at very high pressure. The tap on the hand basin had to be held steady with one hand while being turned on with the other as it was very loose and I was afraid it might come off my hand. That tap would only provide warmish water when gushing at full pressure. I stayed at this hotel before it was taken over by Ibis and I had no complaints. This is the last time Ibis will ever get any money out of me. Avoid!

This is at the budget end of the Ibis chain.Anyone expecting "normal"Ibis treatment will be seriously disappointed.The Reception staff were efficient ,polite and helpful,but housekeeping and dining room staff were downright insolent and unhelpful.Facilities in the bedroom and bathroom were in poor state.No bed side lights ,no plug in basin,no light in mirror,towel rail heater not working still after report to staff.Bathroom very cold and no heating. Good free parking, walk-in shower,breakfast buffet, shops and eating places nearby. The location suited us.

there wasn't hot water in bath the window was broken and was noise in room from the road, not the best quality of the bed sheets was a bit dirty

Help receptiong staff - especially the receptionists. Breakfast good variety and offers choice

Internet very poor connection. They say they have wifi, but really not. Do not expect to have a connection in your room - only if you are up at 3 or 4 am in morning. They need to upgrade the system totally!

no heating in room,having to pay extra for heating appliance,room 401 had traintrack right beside window,attic room no headroom due to sloping roofline,stayed at Ibis hotels in Croydon and Cardiff this is only one I wouldn't return to unless it I really had no other choice

Fair Price. All you can eat breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfort and Clean.

Really really noisy next to a train track - even the bed moved . The room was really cold as well . And the block was across the road from the main hotel . Also no parking at hotel they only have a few spaces . If you leave your car on the road you have to move it at 7am , it's also a very rough area to be leaving your car

Room extremely cold on arrival. You have to pay a £10 deposit for a controller to use the heating. No bedside lights/light switch. Bathroom very badly needs update.
