Easily accessible from the A52, this newly built hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of Derby opposite Pride Park Stadium, the home of Derby County Football Club.

Purple Hotel Derby offers good value for money accommodation in a convenient and easily accessible location, making it ideal for an overnight stopover, a place to stay when attending a football match at the adjacent Pride Park Stadium, or as a base for visiting the city of Derby. Built with your comfort and convenience in mind, this modern hotel offers good-sized rooms at competitive prices. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, king-size beds, luxury showers, high-speed internet access and large televisions with built-in film systems.

There is a comfortable bar and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, as well as meeting rooms which can cater for up to 40 people.

Area information

The hotel is located barely a mile from the city centre, opposite Derby County Football Club and very close to the mainline railway station giving easy access both to the city and the surrounding countryside.

Derby and the surrounding area has a wealth of attractions to offer, with a rich industrial and cultural history and shopping and sporting venues. These include Derby Racecourse, Derbyshire and Trent Bridge cricket grounds, Donnington Park (car racing) and golf courses.

The beautiful Peak District National Park is within a short driving distance away, with its ever changing scenery, sheltered villages and the bleak peaks towering over them. A little further afield you can retrace Robin Hood's footsteps in Sherwood Forest. The city of Nottingham is also within easy driving distance and offers fabulous shops and museums.
