The effeciency and helpfulness of the staff The bar/lounge area seating was so uncomfortable. At the end of an evening out, it is nice to be able to relax before retiring however the seating was so unfortable it made that virtually impossible. |

Location- the room we stayed in overlooked sea. Large bathroom and good shower. Ipod dock/ radio clock alarm and flat screen tv in room.lovely dining room overlooking sea. Friendly and pleasant staff. The bar islarge,cold barnlike and lacks atmosphere. |

The Slieve Donard is a beautiful hotel, with fantastic facilities. particularly enjoyed the pool area. The Percy French restaurant was a let down as it was very grubby. One minor complaint was the lack of bathrobes which in a hotel of this type is necessary because of the pool and spa. They were given to us but a little grudgingly. |

I relaxed with my granddaughter, went shopping and had lovely meal in hotel dining room. We also went for lovely walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The wash hand basin in the bathroom was filled with water and the plug was in. I reported to reception, they took the plug out but the wash hand basin leaked the remainder of our stay. |

Staff as always very helpfull and attentive Facilities, rooms, resturants, and spa excellent and to a very high standard The location is beautiful and my stay was a pleasure looking forward to returning in the near future No only fault to short a stay |

The espa Spa was lovely, great pool etc.., dramatic scenery and the best sauna with a view I've ever been in! Hotel was very organised and welcoming despite being at full capacity with 2 weddings that day. Mohammed |

The Spa was absolutley amazing . The location on the sea front was spectacular.Staff were very professional and friendly. We did not feel the hotel was very busy when we were there and would really have appreciated to be given a room with a sea view. |

as above the percy french rest.provided a poor meal,we had ribeye which was below the standard we have experienced before,when this was mentioned to till staff,dident seem a bit concerned,the chips where also tastless,must be frozen,we then dined at the Hop dinner,excellent. |

The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was good. Location of hotel was convenient for the company I was visiting in Kilkeel. The view of the sea from the front of the hotel would have been fantastic, unfortunately my room was in an inner wing and looked out onto a brick wall. Cost of internet access was excessive (many hotels supply this as a free service). |

have stayed in slieve donard hotel before. the rooms are always very nice, spacious and clean. picturesque setting spa vacilities have seen better days. showers not working, tiles missing in others. steam room looking shabby and lifting wood in the sauna. could do with a maintenance man! |

The setting was absolutely beautiful. Welcoming fire in the entrance. Very generous sized bedroom. Very noisy at night. Walls seemed a bit thin as I could hear conversation at night in room close by. |

We enjoyed the spa, the jacuzzi was excellent. We also thought the food was very tasty, although expensive. We didn't get the bathrobe that we were supposed to get, plus the bedrooms had no air conditioning. |

When I arrived at the hotel - it was blowing a gale outside, The porter let me make 2 trips to my jeep without assistance, I had an 8 week old baby & had to leave her in the reception unattended whilst I went back twice to my car for the overnight bag and pram, I was completely soaked when I arrived to check in , the front desk receptionist Glynis announced that she had no record of my booking and rang thru to central reservations to check if they the booking. I was left standing at reception with a 'now crying' 8 week old infant that required feeding, we were left at the main reception whilst Glynis checked in other guests - I had to Breastfeed my baby girl in the main reception. Finally being checked in about 1 hour after arrival. |
