Sloane Square Hotel  

Blev bra efter klagomål på att rummet var kallt, vattnet inte fungerade etc. vänlig personal som uppgraderade oss till ett jätte fint rum, men trist start.

Har bott där förut. Jättetrevligt hotel med bra läge.

Fanns ingen läslampa vid sängen. Den var trasig hela tiden även fast jag bad om en ny. Var även en fläkt som lät jättehögt I badrummet. Vet inte riktigt varför. Har aldrig haft det I badrummet där förut. Gick inte att göra något åt!

Location

We were given a room facing a wall, closed windows.When we asked for another room we were told that the hotel was fully booked. I went downstairs and insisted for another room , after a small talk they found a room on the second floor which was even smaller,facing the wall again. Being too tired to ask for a new room we stayed at this room for 3 days. When I checked the plans of the hotel ,unfortunately found that these were the smallest and only rooms without a view. I believe if we had booked through the hotel's internet site instead of booking.com, we would be given a decent room.

I love the location right at Sloane Square. My room overlooked the square with its tall trees and grass. Very pleasant. Taxies are parked across the street nearly all the time. The hotel is only a block or so from the local tube station. The hotel is very sharp and contemporary. The staff is efficient. There is high end shopping--Tiffany's, Hugo Boss, etc. There is a lot of energy in this area. It is a fun as well as convenient place to stay.

I like to read in bed at night and the lighting was very poor by my bed. This may not be in all the rooms.

Extremely convenient location, walking distance from many major attractions. Rooms are clean, and colorful. Most of the staff are very friendly.

Our room #207 was located near to what smelt like a waste disposal, though luckily the smell did not enter our room, when entering and exiting our room the smell was disgusting, and we had to hold our noses. When we made the complaint the extremely dry, stand of fish receptionist ( who was having breakfast at the hotel brasserie and made us wait) finally came out and spoke to us. She did not apologize, nor accept to come upstairs with us to smell the odor for herself. She was almost in denial, since we had already paid she did not give us a discount nor compensation. Another issue is that the hotel only functions on one elevator- not very practical. Concierge is always busy, and understaffed. Porter is the concierge who needs to multitask poor thing!

It's centrally located and is a modern and well equipped hotel.

There were two fire alarms which went off during my stay. That was a total nuisance as both were false alarms!!! I didn't enjoy turning up in the hotel lobby almost undressed when there was no serious danger!

great location, great style and atmosphere

Professional, efficient, friendly, convenient location

Even the superior room was very small and the 'designer' bathroom was miniscule. There was no armchair only one hard upright desk chair. The room had been 'designer' furnished meaning that there were only two tiny desk drawers in which to put ones clothes although the hanging cupboard was adequate for our 3-night stay. There were no cupboards or drawers in the bedside tables. The majority of staff were foreign and friendly but some with very poor English resulting in some difficulties particularly when ordering room service - breakfasts were a disaster never reflecting exactly what was ordered. The cost for our stay was extremely high for what we got.

Stayed at this hotel on new years eve as we were in London to watch the fireworks. Pleasant greeting when we arrived. Lovely surroundings and look of the hotel. Lovely reception/lobby area. Easy check in and stayed in room 214 facing the square. Lovely view from the bay window onto the square. Yes it is a little noisy with buses squeaking along, police sirens and constant traffic as it is a busy area but we were not bothered by this as it was a weekend break and expected it to be busy as it was new years eve. The staff I did meet were nice even when I arrived at reception at 3am looking for toothpaste as I had forgotten mine ! Lovely room, quite small, decoration nice and everything in good working order. Amazing bed & pillows, so soft and comfortable. Also in room; flat screen tv, playstation (dvd's & games downstairs), safe, hot water machine, fridge fully stocked. Had to pay to use the Wifi which we didnt use on this trip. Laptop provided in room. Also local/national calls are free from hotel room phone. Gorgeous bathroom and a nice size although the shower which was powerful & warm is tiny, even for 5" me. Didn't use the breakfast/room service or restaurant which is next to the hotel accessible without leaving the hotel but looked equally as lovely. Overall a lovely looking hotel/room in a great location. Very pleased with the trip.

A nice place to stay if you have activities close by. Clean. Well kept. Rooms, however, small. Perhaps somewhat expensive. Budget-wise a place some underground stops further away is more favourable, since you have in any case to use underground. Taxi usually too congested. The hotel is so British, which is good

The Hotel charged slightly more than given by Booking.com.

The location and the bed was also confortable

The bathroom on room 413 was ridiculous- the shower was the smallest I have ever seen and and the shower head was half hanging from the wall and did not work well. There was no space to put anything. The lightening in the room only existed beside the bed. Unacceptable for this day and age and price. I will not use this hotel ever again. Besides breakfast was poor and the personel was not very nice either. I will not use this hotel ever again

The location is excellent. The bed was really comfortable.
