Smart And Simple Hotel  

Good area to visit the town , close to rail station & shopping & the Pantiles area

Just the weather didn't co-operate ,for my walking

Have stayed here many times, great location and the staff are very helpful and friendly

bathrooms and bedrooms need TLC, lighting not great if you want to put your make up on! Shame you have stopped putting the bottled water in the rooms, that was always appreciated.

Nice size room, smart and simple, good location, friendly staff,clean,good food, nice garden

Only down side is there is no car park, there is a road ops that is free to park in but there were no spaces. A permit can be bought at reception to park right outside for£5 but had to be up by 9am to move the car or another £5 permit, luckily I could move the car from outside the hotel to on the road for free for 2 hrs before checkout @11

Although a short stay, I had a very nice stay, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre with its shops and bars

Great value for money in a good location. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and the facilities nice.

Very satisfied with our stay. It does what it says on the tin. Just a simple no frills hotel at a good price. Our room was very comfy with a nice large bathroom. Breakfast was great and very reasonable. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

General air of neglect, for example: Curtain hanging down Toilet seat chipped and loose Mould on window Complicated shower No kettle in room Mattress cover very stained

Good relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, obliging staff. Good value for money. Well positioned for exploring Tunbridge Wells and the rest of Kent. Best shower ever found in an hotel.

The bed in our room was too near the door which made it difficult to get in or out.

The Staff were very helpful and booked us a taxi for the wedding we were attending that day Breakfast superb and very friendly staff in the morning...

Parking on road

Looks like it had been a nice hotel in the past but is badly in need of a complete refurbishment. Carpet stains, dirty shower grouting and other signs of wear. I would not stop there again.

Acommodating to our very specific needs for New Years Eve, good security and polite staff for 2.40am!

Needs refreshing and redecorating, doesn’t stand up to the 'Smart' side of its title. This did'nt detract from the comfortable stay we had though.

Exceeded expectation, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was fantastic, really good value, clean, central and the staff were really lovely.

The TV had very poor reception.

It provided exactly what it said - quite simple but very comfortable accommodation. Spacious double room, double glazed so quiet even though on roadside, and comfortable bed. Bathroom facilities were fine too. Really good value for money.
