Smart And Simple Hotel  

Clean and comfortable; reliable accommodation. They are trying to improve what they offer all the time and very focussed on the customer experience. I stay here each time I visit Tunbridge Wells.

Good location and a very easy reception. The room was big and clean, the bar and dining room were excellent and the best garden in the area. Great value for money

Off site parking was a little restricting as the parking inspector came around at 9 am to issue notices when necessary.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Room was clean, bed comfortable. We had the "Small Breakfast" rather than the Continental buffet which was freshly-prepared and very tasty. We can't speak highly enough of the staff who seemed to be mostly East-European and, as ever, were keen to do their job well.

Traffic noise from nearby road was very loud from early morning. Room 1, on ground floor, was only single-glazed. Double glazing would obviously help to reduce road noise. Shower cubicle was a bit cramped and no working extractor in shower room so it got a bit steamed up. Despite this I would use this hotel again.

Modern well decorated clean smart friendly well situated for entertainment and shopping close to country walks. Low priced restaraunt food that may be handy for families on a tight budget Helpful well trained and motivated staff

Noisy rooms from traffic - opposite main road and no double glazing. Not much hot water. The type and quality of food doesn't match that expected by the look of the hotel. Food is very plain and ordinary and low skill of cooking produces average pub style cuisine. High priced alcoholic drinks at the bar e.g. £6.25 for a double vodka.

Quite central and no problem for parking

Needs upgrading in shower/bathrooms. No Tea/coffee facilities, can be ordered against a charge.

Friendly Staff - within walking distance of the Centre of town - clean - good service, asked for coffee in room and served within minutes.

WiFi connection is extremely important for my business hence I was a bit disappointed at that they seemed to have continuous problems with it - when they did sort it out I was leaving.

Standing around waiting for a receptionist Room 4 is basically in the main corridor so don't expect a decent lay in ! You can see their intention is to be a boutique rather than budget hotel but they need to check all the little details otherwise the difference in price really isn't worth it

Good area to visit the town , close to rail station & shopping & the Pantiles area

Quirkiness of Building..Location to Town Centre..Price..

Springs through mattress.Bed very uncomfortable..Not a very good sleep as a consequence..

bathrooms and bedrooms need TLC, lighting not great if you want to put your make up on! Shame you have stopped putting the bottled water in the rooms, that was always appreciated.

Only down side is there is no car park, there is a road ops that is free to park in but there were no spaces. A permit can be bought at reception to park right outside for£5 but had to be up by 9am to move the car or another £5 permit, luckily I could move the car from outside the hotel to on the road for free for 2 hrs before checkout @11

Although a short stay, I had a very nice stay, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre with its shops and bars

Great value for money in a good location. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and the facilities nice.

Very satisfied with our stay. It does what it says on the tin. Just a simple no frills hotel at a good price. Our room was very comfy with a nice large bathroom. Breakfast was great and very reasonable. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Good relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, obliging staff. Good value for money. Well positioned for exploring Tunbridge Wells and the rest of Kent. Best shower ever found in an hotel.

The bed in our room was too near the door which made it difficult to get in or out.

The Staff were very helpful and booked us a taxi for the wedding we were attending that day Breakfast superb and very friendly staff in the morning...
