Te property is very clean the staff is polite and helpful Very good location Easy to travel around London
Great location just few mins walk from Russell square underground!
close to city and shops
showers are cold
they have cereal at the breakfast toilets were clean
3 stairs bunk bed system 3x3 = 9 beds the top one is like on a skyscraper:) poor breakfast -bread,jam,cereal,coffee lobby area is like a kindergarden tables
Relatively quiet hostel. Facilities are good. Plentiful breakfast.
Was the best one of all
Location Staff (most of them at least)
No laundry People checking in and out in the middle of the night waking you up Poor breakfast Uncomfortable showers Lack of sockets in dorms Lack of toilets
Showers in the basement. No toilets, no mirrors. Very noisy with doors slamming all night.
Their staff in night shift were so rude. I hate it. Room has no window for 9 beds. I think it's illegal. Close dawn! It was worst staff I have ever met in hostel.
Central location, wi-fi was ok. The entrance was watched in the evenings (a person checking you are a guest at the hostel).
It should be forbidden to put 15 people in such a small room. 3 beds one above another! No place to put or dry your stuff, not enough lockers in the room. Only two sockets for 15 people. Stuff at the reception was not very attentive: I had to wait for about 10 minutes while they (3 of them) were coming & going and doing other things. Huge uninviting common showers (though they were almost always empty in the evenings). Cheapest breakfast of one sort of cereals, cheap bread and one sort of jam. All in all: might be bearable if you need to stay one night (especially as the location is not far from Kings Cross), but would not recommend for a longer stay.
This is a dirty setup Please travellers avoid this place. My family caught food poisoning ! Mr g peters
Probably the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.Run by 3-4 rude male staff with poor english, this hostel has extremely inflexible rules. The room was unbearably hot (though it was 15C outside),and there was no water in a sink tap.The closest bathroom was 2 floors away. The showers are in the basement (5 floors down),unregulated tap with very hot water,it truly looked like a prison shower in some Hollywood film. This hostel appears to be so unsafe that they employ a special bouncer on doors.
Sheets very crisp, clean and in good condition. Made a huge difference as there was a heatwave in London and no air con in bedrooms of hostel. After a shower laying on fresh sheets was excellent. Staff also very helpful and overall hostel was clean with a good atmosphere and felt safe.
No air con in bedrooms.
Cheap, good location.
Staff had attitude, works start inside the building at 9am, wifi is only in dingy common area, I think they employed a child as a security guard at night.
Staff were nice. Okay location - thats it
We were in the basement with 16 others, so hot and humid. No air conditioning. 2 power points for the whole room. Toilets were 2 floors up about. Showers were cold with simply curtains for privacy. Had to ask reception for the boiler to be turned on. Beds were too short. Could not be stretched out when sleeping. Simply: never stay here!
Everything is ok and nice costumer service
No temperature control, it was uncomfortably hot. It wasn't clean and there were a lot of hidden fees and charges not mentioned in in the reservation.
Restrooms are too bad, and you cant find a rest room in every story.
The location and easy to get to very good security
The shower area needs updating and toilet facilities
Location is good.
They charged me 10pounds for deposit. And didn't give me back when I was checking out at 9:00am. Hours later I came back for my deposit ,they said I checked out late at 11am. After conversation they committed I checked out at 9:00am. And give me 10pounds and said be off of his hostel.they were rude. They wasted my time in London cause I came back from far away. They made a mistake and I would pay for the time and something.
the great location, value for money
the cleanliness, cold shower, hundred doors
The lack of cleanliness, lack of hot water, general bad behaviour of many residents, banging doors all night, shouting - a bad environment creates antisocial behaviour because people don't buy into it
Everything else - it was hot, stuffy and smelly, best avoided except in emergencies!
Extra fees(for using cabinets, paying additional fee by debit card, etc) Lack of electric plugs in a domitory room Wasn't provided hot water in a shower room in the morning and the night as well. Poor breakfast
