not enough room for 18 people's bags in the room late night noise as guests went to bed loudly at 3/4am
Beds comfortable. Ensure bathroom very clean.
Pillowcases didn't seem to get changed in between customers. Not enough plates, cutlery etc.
Location is very good, close to station and Hyde Park and underground. Good friendly staff in reception.
Room was very small.
Location, Value for money, curtains in bunkbeds for privacy and protect from light while sleeping
Having to cross descend 2 floors to showers. Having to pay for lockers.
close to the tube station grocery store nearby beds have curtains
The miniature room had six TRIPLE bunk beds in it, no air. Very little space between the beds, can barely fit through. Claustrophobic. Their is no free room for baggage so people had to put it in the aisle between the beds. There was no room to walk between the beds!!! We had to sleep with part of our luggage ON our beds! Very loud, can hear slamming of doors all through the night.
-The exterior of the building is quite nice. -It's comfier than the street.
-Dorms in the basement feel very claustrophobic. -Crowded (could be a positive) -Charge to store bags.
it's good value for money when you're looking for a place to stay in central London
While having booked a 4 bed room I was told that I had been downgraded to a 6 bed room for the same price. Only after saying I wanted to speak to the manager they suddenly said that it was a mistake. Like others I didn't receive any pillow case, that's just not acceptable and disgusting
Location is very convenient. Nice to meet people from different countries! Six beds girl's dorm has a bathroom in the room.
No elevator, don't bring big suitcase. But the staff were very nice to help me carry it up to 3rd floor. The light turns off after a short time, so you need to keep waving you hand to the sensor when you are taking shower.
Free WiFi, curtains across beds, nice and warm on a cold night, location is great, staff friendly, clean.
Common area could have more seats near plug sockets so people don't have to sit on tables or leave their charging items unattended. Hygienic pillow cover would be good
Very low price, good locality, acceptable standard of both the interiors and services (if you just need to have a shower, pass the night and get a breakfast :-) ), quiet neighbourhood
showers (no hangers for clothes, you need to hold the button all the time to keep the water running...), very stuffeed 18-bed bedroom with very narrow aisles between beds
Kitchen, common room, wi-fi, staff , break fast
facility of locker should be free of cost
- clean rooms - pillows better than expected - clean showers / toilets - very close to underground station - free wifi
- I'm 192 cm. Beds are a bit too tiny. - breakfast: only cornflakes and toast.
The reception staff are really nice and helpful. Warm relaxing atmosphere - people of all ages feel welcome. Excellent location - close to underground, near some places of interest, good shops and pubs within walking distance.
15 mins walk from oxford street.. free breakfast, friendly staff, clean, curtains on the beds for privacy, free wifi, lots of showers, really cheap for being so central
Lots of renovating work going on.. no running water in the sinks in the toilets on the 2nd floor. Toilets on the 1st floor were out of order so had to walk all the way down to the ground floor for functioning toilets and sinks together. .. showers in the basement 3 floors below through comon area
Tiny single room with 9 people in it, had to climb a dangerous ladder to get to bed, no storage, no changing area, all facilities three floors down in the basement, very dirty place, cramped conditions. I left after a few hours.
Bang in the middle of the old town
Nothing concerning the hotel..but beware the taxis rip u off!!
The staff were very helpful. It was very clean the rooms were perfect and the curtains on the beds is a great idea as they block out if people come in later than you and turn on the lights. The self catering kitchen has lots of facilities and the breakfast is a lovely extra especially considering the price
Best location, unbeatable price. Friendly staff.
awesome location, good wifi in first room and in common room, fully equipped kitchen, good point you can use a curtain for your bed and make it dark except you are at the top bed
9 people in one super small room, 3rd bed too high scary height, really noisy sound from outside, restrooms all together boys and girls, not working all toilets, too many people in this not big hostel,
Excellent staff, knowledgeable, courteous, smiling and willing to help, especially Margarita and Christina on 26/27 Oct. Clean, comfortable, and well situated, perfect for a nights stop over.
Showers on two levels, and toilets on second floor were out of commission due to 'refurbishment'. Only the basement showers were available for the mass of people in the hostel, although very adequate when able to get to use one.
Location within 2 mins walk of tube
Only 2 power points in room for 6 people. Dirty floor. Broken sink with bin bag taped over it. Broken toilet cubicle, not even cleaned up, just broken wood lying around.
Everything was ok there, it was clean, all the people were nice. It was close to all places you can just walk everywhere. It was safety, security person was there night times. Good showers, good rooms. I really liked there.
Pillows are quite hard.
International users. Friendly people. Good staff.
The staff was friendly and the bed ok. I also liked that each bed had a curtain, which allowed you to have more privacy. It was not a very comfortable stay, but you cannot expect more for that price in London.
- There wasn't enough space. It was barely possible to walk in the room because of all the luggage. - There were only 5 tiny rooms with a toilet and washbasin on my floor. - The water in the shower was really hot and could not be adjusted. - No mirrors in the shower room and no sockets for plugging in the hairdryer.
location is very convinient
pay extra for the locker and luggage-keeping
