Robert and staff made us feel very welcome. Russell's restaurant, the food & service were excellent with a warm friendly atmosphere. Room was very clean with plenty of attention to detail. Location for walks on Ben Nevis was good.
I didn't get any sleep the first night as the mattress was worn out and I fell out of the bed. The Mattress was replaced with a new one the next day, we were given a nice card a bottle of wine & some chocolates. The standard double bed is to small for me so I didn't get much sleep the second night. The room was small but I think a king size bed would fit in. The smallest TV I have seen in a room. Having said that I would recommend staying at this guest house, if your comfortable in a standard double bed.
Friendly staff Wonderful food Great Customer Service
Rooms very clean and tidy, food excellent, service very good.
As I was climbing i would have liked a bath available in the evening.
Frendly staff Excellent food good parking space exceent choice of breakfast good location for sightseening of west coast & great glen
The food in the restaurant was top quality, and the breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip.
Clean rooms and toilets. Friendly helpful host. Excellent breakfast.
Food excellent and owner worked hard to meet out every need
Lounge could do with softer seating
Good seasonal food well prepared.
An excess of chintz in the bedroom which was a bit small and cramped
The standard of the food and service in Russell's restaurant was faultless
The room was quite small, but the quality of the food and service more than made up for it
Food - amazing Breakfast - astonishing Room - great Cleanliness - faultless Everything else - superb Possibly the best B&B and evening meal ever, the steak was the best, I could go on but this is a truly great place to stay, if in the Spean Bridge area. Absolute Quality!
Didn't like leaving . . . LOL
There was lots of choice for breakfast. The usual cooked breakfast, lovely fresh fruit salad, pancakes and lots more. The evening meals seem a little expensive but quality is very good. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The pillows are nicely plump.
The front bedroom is very compact with little storage. We stayed 3 nights so they moved us to a slightly larger room. The sleep was only fair as the weather was very warm and despite a fan being providedwas still difficult to sleep.
Comfy surroundings and attentive staff. An amazing collection of interesting things all through the house.
As soon as we arrived we were made to feel at home,A welcome drink with lovely cake, and a glass of sherry to start the short break in Smiddy. House. The restaurant was exceptional, staff very helpful, with food to die for!! we will be returning ASAP.
The bed was a bit small, but the room had everything in to make our stay enjoyable.
A very warm welcome from the proprietor set the tone. Excellent, spotlessly clean accommodation with plentiful white fluffy towels and gorgeous Scottish toiletries. Superb dinner and even better breakfast. A highland gem
We stayed for five nights. The location is central to the western coast and an excellent base for touring. Robert and staff could not be more attentive, we were made to feel completely at home. The food was excellent and served promptly. We have never stayed somewhere where we were treated with such sincere kindness and courtesy. We would strongly recommend this facility to all.
Staff helpful beautiful comfortable
The hospitality was exceptional by the willingness to dry our rain drenched clothes. The decor and beautiful/comfortable room and the fantastic food.
the verry kindly hostess and the fantastic dinners and breakfast
there was nothing what we didn't like
Too much to list but here goes friendly helpful food little touches welcome brekfast fod and again and again what a greeting1 tea cake and sherry
Room was a bit small
Friendly welcome and excellent food and service a small restaurant with a big reputation well done Glen and Robert!!!
There's nothing to dislike absolutely nothing!!!
Lovely B&B with cozy rooms and outstanding breakfast ('Royal Eggs' special). Restaurant is on the pricy side, but the food served there is worth it.
Very friendly reception, nice interieur, good beds and bathroom, but rooms a bit too small, you hardly can place your luggage. The restaurant is very good, has excellent cuisine.
I already mentioned. And the location at a crossroad is not optimal.
Everything about this place was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
We were immediately made to feel at home by the co-owner, Robert, when we arrived at this beautifully maintained hotel. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, the food served in Russell's exceptional. We only wish we had been staying more than one night.
Not a single complaint — and we can be fussy.
