the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was good
The bed was far too small. The room seemed dusty and I got an allergy - itchy nose. I also came out in a rash. Do not know if it was mossy bites or what.
good price breakfast simple but good good and simple room
service at breakfast bad
The front desk people are of no help, rude actually. Beds are the worst I've ever slept in, ever! There is no lift/elevator put us on the top floor, 3 of us luggage and 150 stairs-nightmare.
the reception was always friendly
the room, dirt in the room, showers, breakfast, wiFi,...actually everything.
Good breakfast and friendly staff.
The stairs at the top of the hotel are very steep and feel unsafe.
Just the staff serving the breakfast.
The room was too small. Up 3 flights of steep stairs. Said there was free parking, this was no the case. No free wifi Breakfast staff very unwelcoming.
Room excellent clean and comfortable.
Noisey neibours cutlery not clean.
Somewhat small and prize room
Decor and breakfast
Wifi does not work, experience of bedbugs. Please get this sorted.
There was blood stains and poo stains on the mattress , I have photos to prove it , absolutely disgustin.
Breakfast was really good. The staff were helpful and the hotel was in a good location.
We found the room very small and cramped. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom wasn't clean. The shower pressure was poor.
The staff were very helpful and worked hard to keep the hotel clean. They also helped with luggage and the breakfast was really nice.
The hotel it's self it old and run down and is in need of a refurbishment. The whole place needs to be painted the beds need be changed as they are very old and the water needs to be looked at as we did not have hot water at night. Double glazing of the windows or block out curtains might keep out the noise of the street and the light.
Breakfast: poor service, tiny room, filthy tables. No parking place available.
Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. Rooms clean.
Room had double and single beds. Bit squashed. Step at bathroom bit of a hazard.
Location good. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good
Toilet flush broken on arrival-resolved within an hour however. Cups and saucers in room dirty. Towels and toilet rolls not replaced without going down 3 floors to request - no lift. Fire door outside our room banged shut every time it was used-frequently throughout the night!
Good clean bathroom.
WiFi did not work. Room small and very unpleasant. Breakfast small and poor quality. Reception small and unpleasant.
Hotel in an excellent location with parking facility.
Hotel could do with improvement in appearance.
Breakfast were quick and tasty Great location
Beds little hard
Not quite what I expected, but it was well cleaned, breakfast included at choice of meal.
All down to personal preferance but bed faced window so light shined straight into ones eyes, caused me a migraine.
Thight stairs and corridores. Felt filthy, more like a dirty hostel or guest house, than hotel.
Good location Great breakfast
Lack of facilities The price (though I appreciate that was dictated by 'market forces')
Value for the money because we had 1 rooms quadruple room and 1 Queens quadruple room. We stayed 5 adults in Queens quadruple room which is quite spacies, clean toilet & shower. Breakfast is good & helpful service.
Definitely not a good welcome, because we found 5 travelling bags & 2 ironing tables (with torn sheet) in front of quadruple room entrance. Room no4. Which brings me a bad impression before entering into the quadruple room. Carpets are old & dirty. Didn't even think to remove my shoes. Shower not good . Couldn't even adjust the hot water.
The sheets were stained as were the towels. The window was faulty and the room was tiny. The electricity panel was cover by plywood and the plugs were over crowded. The room was at the top of a narrow staircase and the door of the hallway was linked to the wall of our room which meant that every time it was opened, we were disturbed with it banging shut. The staff were unhelpful and unhappy when we asked for clean towels. Couldn't get breakfast as there were no seats in the dining area and it appeared as of the hotel staffs family were taking up most of the room. Service was definitely below average. The decor was dated and smelled. Not worth a visit
