The location was very good being right next to the beach
The noise from the clubs in the early hours
i liked the short walks into the town and how close it was to seafront, parking was fine no problems.
We didnt like the food, and found plastic in bottom of glass when had a drink from the bar.The duvet cover was too small for the bed therefore kept waking up because of this.
Well positioned location for all amenities. Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. This is was my second stay, previous time was in the apartments which are excellent.
Parking is a problem as there is only space for 10 cars. The local Car Park is very expensive. Single room was a little small and placed over the kitchen area, (smell of cooking when window opened) however, the room was very clean and comfortable.
two of the rooms were spacious and clean - check in was quick and problem free
one of the rooms I booked was described as a large single, but had a double bed in the room. My friend was unable to hang up and clothes in the wardrobe as the bed prevented her opening the door and it was also difficult for her to get into the bathroom.
Noisy at night No desk for laptop Room vey dark Floor creaked and slopped badly Very narrow corridors therefore bigger fire risk
The room I stayed is was quite small but it did have a double bed in the room. it was very comfortable. I had to change my booking as my teenage daughter decided to come with me and the hotel changed my booking without any problems.
Room 22 was very hot & the smells of cooking were coming into the room from the small window which overlooked the roof area. Tight space to get into the bathroom as the door bashed against the end of the bed. There wasn't much natural light in the room as the window was small.
Very friendly staff and location of hotel
Tiny room Noisey room Dusty No electric test stickers on plugs Full carpeted lift - surely a fire risk Bad staff attitude Broken chimney pipes from kitchen so if u open windows it stinks of cooking fat
The position and the view.
The hotel did not live up to it's internet image. The premier room was very small. The bathroom door only opened half way before hitting the bed.The water trickled out of the tapes and we had no hot water at all. The noise from the bar next door was very loud and went on until after 12.30 at night.
One of our party was on the second floor, nice room, opening windows, bed was quite comfortable and they got a good night's sleep. They were the lucky ones.
If you are in Rooms 1 through to 8 you will be right under the stairs, next to the bar and entertainment lounge on the ground floor. We were in room 8, constant noise, bangs, people pounding up and down the stairs. Someone knocked on our door at 2am, No opening window in the room, boiling hot and the beds were very uncomfortable and springy. I saw every hour through the night, mostly because of the constant noises waking me up.
Location, food, comfortable bed.
Decor - this could do with lightening up to neutral shades.
I took my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair and all the staff were exceptionally helpful and I would definately stay at this hotel again
The location of the hotel is ideal with easy access to the pier & beach and also very close to the main shops and shopping centre. The staff were all friendly and efficient, although we had a small room it had everything we needed and was to a good standard, nice decor, good quality and very clean. We ate at the hotel in the evening and had freshly cooked piping hot food. Would visit again with no hesitation at all
The hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the pier. Rooms were nice and clean and well equipped and the staff were very friendly. Didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food.
Only negatives were the lift was horrible, dark and hot and claustrophobic. Also the room was laid out so that there was no light at all near the dressing mirror.
View from room over pier.
Too noisy late at night.
Sea location Everything was very good and certainly value for the price asked
lack of parking for anyone staying at all sea front hotels
we were in the apartments very modern good location
we went for breakfast in hotel thought breakfast room was very dark needs make over with light wallpaper small portions on breakast
told gentleman at checkin we wanted breakfast for 3 he said no need to order just walk into breakfast and pay the waitress i stated on booking it stated we ordered he said this is not the case following morning told we had not booked for breakfast i told head waitress what had happened she knew the gentleman involved was known to her we then proceeded to wait half an hour for breakfast not good enough.
Noise of people going to their rooms & banging of doors. Small room, bad parking.
Every member of staff made us most welcome. They were very efficient and cheerful. Location was excellent. Food very good value. Beds were very comfortable.
The staff, including the management, were always polite, cheerful and helpful despite being very busy. Hotel very clean and I was particularly pleased with the restaurant which provided a varied vegetarian menu. Despite much activity both inside and outside the hotel, which is on the seafront, it managed to provide a quiet and peaceful atmosphere at night.
One very minor point: the bathroom in room 16 needs updating but this is probably a work in progress
Hotel was right on the front in the heart of all things going on.
Parking was first come first served.
Rubbish on floor outside window. Reception under staffed. More interested in coach party's than individual travelers.Dirty linen on floor outside room on arrival.
Staff we're lovely, nothing too much trouble and the food was excellent and good value for money. Thank you we had a wonderful weekend.
Reasonably priced, good location, bar open very late (as late as you need!)
Single rooms were quite small, walls were thin so could hear everything next door, shower wasn't great, staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing.
