Food at dinner was lovely and great value for money!
Bed was very comfortable
We arrived in room, we were going to have a drink and i went to get the glasses, which had obv been used by previous customer drinking irn bru as glasses were disgusting and the napkin which they were on were badly stained. Also i booked a room with a bath and when i asked the receptionist her response was "Well there isnt any rooms with a bath left" No apology or other offer. Noise oustide from the nightclub was unbelievable, especially between 2am til 3.30am, we booked "Hill View" room but never mentioned it was above the nightclub!!!
Extremely helpful Asst. Manager helped me locate a club to enjoy the evening. Also mega quiet room.
Nowt not to like.
Room was double booked, not impressed. Place wasn't in a very nice area too
Location and price and quality of the interiors. Excellent breakfsst
poor first impression of the outside of the building
The price Breakfast included
The outside look of the hotel is not a great indication of the inside. The inside has a modern feel, the function hall upstairs was really nice and beautifully decorated for the wedding. Staff friendly, food was lovely, of a high standard & also beautifully presented. There is a nightclub downstairs that could be heard from the bedroom we stayed in on the 2nd floor, but it didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was included in our £55 stay, which I didn't expect but was delighted, breakfast was also very nice, we chose the full cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, herbal/fruit teas were also available
No Wi-Fi in the bedroom
good location.close to town facilities
get to breakfast early as the self service continental breakfast runs out of choices
Drunk people coming out of the adjecent club/bar to the hotel shouting and fighting in the early hours of the morning.
Newly renovated room. 20minutes by car to Glasgow city centre.
Loud music by 00am on Saturday night.
It's quiet and the quality is great for the price.
No wifi connection in the bedroom
breakfast very poor. - not even a piece of cheese.
Food was excellent Staff were very friendly
Kettle didn't work in the room
Disco on until 2am . Too noisy . Over priced at £70 .
Last hotel nearby to have room available in the low cost price range.
- Noise from the Disco on friday night until 2.00am - Noise from the gulls on the roof from 5.00am - Noise of the neighbours through the thin walls
Staff were very helpful nothing was a bother . Restaurant was excellent food very good and a hearty breakfast
Room was very stuffy and very little natural light. I could hear the everything from the room next door. The person was drunk and making a lot of noise and must have fell on the floor. noise until 2.45 am.
Great place would highly recommend
Loved it all
Loved how it had a night club price was very reasonable will definetly go again
The restaurnt was very good and the food was excellent the room was good after a little mishap Overhaul worth a visit
We were given the wrong room on the first night But was put right on the second night with a refund.
Old dirty building.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room was extremely small, no air con so very, very hot with only a small window to open. Being in an area surrounded by small businesses and a bar the refuse collection early every morning was dreadful!!! The nightclub on the Friday night was also very noisy with all the youth gathered outside in the early hours of the morning shouting and screaming. As we were there for the Commonwealth Games we stayed otherwise we would have looked for alternative accommodation.
Good location and the bar lunch was very good.
There isn't a lift and the disco was noisy until late.
Nothing really - apart from a very nice Wetherspoons around the corner!
Breakfast - fresh fruits were poor, cooked food dried up - but did get a little better after the first day. Sheet's weren't changed - one day bed not made - no where to put toiletries in the shower cubicle.
The Bar of the hotel was modern and well presented.
The tripling of cost to cash in on the Commonwealth Games. A room which they called "The Cottage" which had no double glazing and was right next to a very busy main road meaning sleep was disrupted from 6am each morning
