It was ideal for myself as I had to work in the area and it turned out that this was the nearest hotel to Torrance. There was nothing I didn't like, although I only stayed a couple of nights. However I did find that some parts of the Hotel where a little "tired",such as,Lights not working in bathrooms, plugs not fitted to sinks and baths, water stains on the ceiling.

The bar and restaurant areas were great to look at. The room we stayed in - number 19 - was terrible. The room had no windows which meant no fresh air. When we travelled the weather was warm so the room heated up very quickly. We resorted to opening the door to try and get some colder air in but it made no difference. In the morning I tried to get ready for a wedding I was attending but the shower only ran cold water so I ended up having a hot bath in a hot room on a hot day. I was really not happy at all and had to go to another room where a friend was luckily staying to get ready there. I don't think the four rooms in the middle of this hotel should be used for guests any more, or the hotel should get some air conditioning in them as it isn't fair to expect someone to have a comfortable stay in them.

A friendly reception even though it was very late in the evening when we arrived. Although the complaint sectionis a bit more wordy we enjoyed our stay the reception staff were extremely pleasant as was the young lady who served breakfast. Thank you we wouldn't hesitate to book your hotel again. The shower could do with a real overhaul in Room 9. The spray was sparse and the fitments poor. It would be useful as well to have grip handles on the wall as there were no available grip mats for the bath if required. We reported that the ceiling light fitment just fell down and could have perhaps hurt someone as it was between the toilet and the sink, but this was attended to as soon as we made it known to the staff on reception.

The food was good and reasonably priced. They were not expecting me even though pre-booked with Booking.com. The free wi-fi was only available in the reception area.

Just a base for a family wedding. Happy with comfort of bed and bathroom. I was not happy with breakfast - there was only a good full english/scottish breakfast on Sunday - there should be more choice of breakfast on a week day as not very filling or satisfying if you have a day ahead of you on a not such a full stomach. The outside interior looks very sordid, needs updating.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room wasn't clean when we arrived, but this was resolved. The room was very small. There is a nightclub on the ground floor which our room was directly above meaning there was lots of noise until after 2am.

The Hotel was in a great location for the purpose of my trip and the hotel happily let me check-out late with no financial implication. I felt the room, althought well presented and comfortable, was a little on the small side.
