The room was clean. Having to wait until 9am for the Kitchen to open for a hot breakfast (Monday 28th) Sunday 27th the smoke alarm in the Kitchen operating and staff aware that toast would cause it to go into alarm. The room was very small. Struggled with luggage space |

There is very little positive I could say about this hotel apart from the staff were friendly. It was basic - rooms unbelievably small, no lifts to the 2nd floor so had to struggle up 3 flights of stairs with bags - no offer of any help. Was up 3 times during the night - starting at 11pm and last time 4am because of fire alarm going off - and of course there was no fire. I feel we should have been offered a reduction on our room because of this - I have written to the hotel manager and am awaiting a reply. |

It was close to the venue we were visiting The room we occupied was No6. There was no window and very poor ventilation. The room was stifling hot. It was also very noisy Saturday night from the disco. |

Location The service was not particularly good. There had been a mix up with rooms and consequently only one towel in the room. No food had been allocated to the room and luckily I am an honest person otherwise that would not have been paid. Service at breakfast was also very poor - had to request toast three times before it arrived. In the room a poor layout means that the hair dryer cable was so short that the mirror in the room was not very helpful! |

We liked the choice of food, the friendliness of the staff, the comfort and style of the bedroom and the reasonable cost. A wee bit noisy on Fridays and Saturdays when events were being held but not too disturbing. |

Rooms although cramped were bright and clean. The dinner menu was confusing - Many items in it were not available on Saturday night. Also, the room was very small with very little space for two people to move around. The night club was very loud even two floors above. I had to use ear plugs! |
