The parking, the room, the service, the breakfast and the location,it was near enough to the town but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. |

I can honestly say there was nothing I liked about the Smithton Hotel, really nothing at all. Where could you start, the list is endless, the faint smell of urine in the room, the locals staring at you as you entered the bar, the fact it was in the middle of what looked like a council estate, not that that is a problem as long as you know, but by looking at the pictures of this place you would think it was in the middle of the countryside. In fact my mate refused to stay here and we had to find an alternative which was not easy the weekend of the Loch Ness Marathon, under no circumstance stay here. |

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. On site parking. Welcoming staff. Didn't look great from the outside. Walls are thin. |

Friendly staff and willing to please, Approachable, They kindly upgraded my room before arrival so I would not be disturbed by function booked for one of the nights I was staying. No evening meals. Not enough local information available to hand such as bus time tables, places of worship or local map on display. |

Spotless room with a good view of the Moray Firth. On the edge of Inverness so handy for dolphin watching at Channonry Point. They have no restaurant, no evening meals and should therefore be reclassified as a bed and breakfast. |

The staff were friendly and the room was large although felt as if in a house and not a hotel No restaurant which was not aware of when booking was made. In middle of housing estate, car park and outside of hotel in bad state of repair |

Was pleasantly impressed with quality in a low cost room (Good linen + pillows!) A little noisy outside pub, but reasonable and not too late at night |
