Really good attitude of staff. I needed vegetarian sausages for breakfast and they got them for me for the sunday. I couldn't find the kettle at first but was directed to it by a very kind night porter!

I thought that the hotel and the facilities were very clean, and the reception staff are very welcoming and freindly. The residents bar. I ordered 2 pints of beer from the bar, both I had to take back because they tasted funny and smelt like sewer water, so I then got a bottle of beer thinking what could go wrong with this but it was served with a mouldy lime, I took it back to the bar and it was replaced with a fresh one. I then ordered three more bottles of beer, one for me, my wife and a freind and yet again the limes looked as if they had been pulled out of the bin. They were full of mould and rotten. So then I had to wait ten minuets whilst the bar man went to get some fresh limes from the kitchen. I could understand if it was the end of the night and the bar had been busy and they had not noticed the bad limes but it wasn't we had just arrived and it was our first round of drinks.

Friendly Staff Bar Good Food No Heating control - seem to be cold most of the time. External light outside bedroom window seem to be on all night. Only 3 tv channels worked. No kettle for tea or coffee. Hotel needs to be refurbished as it looking old in parts. None of the above was reported to the staff as I was only there one night.

Room was clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable. Room was nicely decorated. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Nice to have a sauna. I didn't get al lot of sleep, because the hotel plumbing system is extremely noisy. Every time another guest used a sink, or the toilet elsewhere in the hotel, I was woken up by rather loud whooshing noises of water. Also, I was extremely warm, and could not turn down the radiator. There was no air conditioning. The sauna could do with being a bit hotter, and both the female and male shower were out of order! I walked back to my room with a towel around me to shower. I was disappointed in this, as this was my reason for booking this motel, over a cheaper one nearby. The bread on the sandwiches I had in the Bar One on site was all dry and had clearly been pre-prepared sometime ago, despite the bar being almost empty. They forgot the accompanying homemade coleslaw, so I asked for it. I was then brought barely a mouthful of it in a bowl.

Comfortable room - lots of space and everything worked. Food service in the restaurant took forever. One person working very hard but it took nearly two hours to have two courses.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient.. Oldham! I prefer to pay on arrival so that there is no delay queuing at departure time. The car park spaces at the front of the hotel are narrow and the access around them is very limited.

Reasonably priced and located central to most of our needs. Beds were large and comfy. Could not control room temp so we were far too hot during the night. Lounge was noisy with non-residents.
