The staff and owners were real freindly, and the food and bar were good,location good for town. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we're ever down that way. Parking was difficult but that's not everything

The lovely couple running it; the quirky layout; the excellent and ample food; the ambience of the hotel; the care-full and friendly staff. An oddly positioned loo with a seat that didn't fit (room 7).

Very friendly. Good location. Plastic wrap on mattress, noisy to sleep on. Very poor shower. Shower not clean Parking not secure or private. Public car par with cctv. That is ok but advert must make that clear.

The owners where extremely nice and very accommodating. Had a great evening with them. Bathroom decor needs urgent attention but plenty of hot water with decent pressure.

Great location spent New Years eve here, just a stroll to the centre and all the pubs great atmosphere. Did walk New Years day to Berry Head very nice would stay again no bad vibes at all

Good central location, very friendly staff and decent breakfast Room comfortable but decoration a bit "Tired" for the cost of room. Parking tricky, pay and display in town or a slog up the hill to street park.

This is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel. Both times have been very enjoyable. The Owners and Staff have been very friendly and the atomsphere is very relaxed. The food both in the evening and at breakfast has been very good. I am looking forward to staying at the Smugglers Haunt again in the future and would certainly recommend it. There is nothing I did not like about the Hotel

It was very well situated to the harbour ,pubs and restuarants,and also we could park in the carpark across the road. Everything we needed was on the doorstep. The breakfast was excellent especially the bacon.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. Food was revolting, breakfast was standard. Room was dark, dingy and dirty. Nothing like the pictures.
