We really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and very comfortable. Location was fine just a few minutes out of the city by car but the bus was handy. The breakfast was great as was our interaction with other guests and the owners.
A most comfortable place to stay. Beautiful place with very kind owners. Incredibly nice breakfast.
Lovely large room, lovely large bathroom, excellent breakfast, beautiful environment, friendly and helpful host
Tv signal was weak kept losing signal
Everything. The decor especially the bathroom was fabulous, floor can be a bit slippy when getting out of the shower, but otherwise fine.Good mein host and excellent breakfast. Would stay again. Friendly black cat as well!
The exit from the drive! Abit hairy Turning right !
Everything, friendly helpful host, spacious bedroom/sitting room, large bathroom/dressing room, nice grounds, wonderful breakfast, handy park and ride for Durham, clean throughout. In short...the best B&B I've ever stayed in!
nothing to dislike.
Near Durham and easy from A1. Large comfy bed. Very welcoming.
Such a good welcome, lovely room, breakfast fantastic best b and b ever.
Jim and Irene welcomed us into their home as if we were family. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition, Jim presented my partner's mother with a bunch of flowers when he found we were celebrating her 92nd birthday.
My partner's 92-year-old mother was a bit phased by having to put her towels on the "ladder" in the bathroom.
rooms large and airy food was excellent and Jim was a wonderful host made us feel very welcome

We stayed at Snipperley Hall for 4 nights. Everything about our stay was excellent. The breakfast was first class and Jim the owner, could not do enough for us. We would certainly visit again. Highly recommended.
Lovely breakfast. Good hosts. Very comfortable rooms.
Friendliness and Helpfulness Excellent food Spotlessly clean Lovely environment Good location
Such a lovely place, comfy rooms they are huge. Set in lovely gardens, really quiet location. Lovely hosts made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was gorgeous, fresh fruit, cereal, full english breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, looking forward to our next visit.
Nothing everything was perfect.
The location and setting. The house has a warm family feel and we felt we were like friend visiting rather than paying guests. The rooms were large & airy with plenty of storage & wardrobe space. Arriving to a warm friendly welcome. (even from the house pets).Breakfast was excellent Jim was most informative about local amenities.Only two minutes walk from a park & ride into Durham (1st time I have used one). We stayed on the weekend of the Durham Miners gala. This was not planned but as Jim stated it was not to be missed so we spent a great day in Durham listening to the brass bands prior to returning home.
We only stayed one night....
The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The host was wonderful - warm, friendly, welcoming, and totally customer focussed. Our room was more like a suite.
Grand property with lovely, comfortable rooms. Only about 2 miles out of Durham and close to park and ride which made it very easy for getting into city centre. Jim was great host and very accommodating with breakfast start times and putting guest bed in room for unexpected additional guest - our 23-year-old son!
