Our two night stay was just a pleasure and tremendous value for money. Great sized bedroom excellent breakfast and Jim couldn't have been more helpful infact their hospitality was second to none.. Would we go again - MOST DEFINITELY!!!

Second visit and exactly the same high standard of service and facilities. Outstanding for the money.

We had a nice big clean room and en-suite. We loved the tasty breakfast in the morning. Excellent B&B, would go again.

Nothing at all! note: The road sign isn't very clear. It's exactly opposite the drive to the house on a busy road and easy to miss.

We were given a very warm welcome at check in and shown to our room, which was very spacious.Breakfast was cooked to order and first rate.

The location. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The size of the rooms, plenty of space. Very helpful with dinner suggestions, places to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Warm welcome on arrival,very friendly and helpful ,away from traffic noise yet close to local restaurants ,pubs and Durham minutes away.Large comfortable bedrooms with large ensuite/ bathroom. Breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and beautiful cooked full english. Very warm for such a large house ,would definately love to stay there again.

Wonderful hospitality made to feel very welcome. Good location for city, plus park and ride just a couple of minutes down road so don't have to use your car! Breakfast very good - lovely fresh eggs daily. Room was very large and comfortable. Would definitely use sniperley again!

Secluded location, very friendly welcome, huge room, comfy bed, amazing shower !....great value !

A bar would be great ! ..(or in-room bar/refreshments etc)......

Stunning bedroom - more than spacious, very comfortable and with attractive decor, felt very private and had lovely view of grounds. Bathroom also very good size, with excellent shower and fast-filling bath.

Everything about Sniperley Hall was superb and we would definitely go there again. We also liked how close Sniperley Hall is to Durham Park and Ride which made our visit to the area much easier without the hassle of driving or finding parking places in the city

This is not a complaint as such, but for people getting on in years as we are, the bed, although very comfortable was a bit too low and a little difficult for us to get into or out of it.

Wow! Tremendous bedroom with all facilities, bathroom with walk in shower and full sized bath. Excellent Dining room with coal fire and a lovely sitting room. First rate cooked breakfast and a charming and helpful host and hostess. all for a very reasonable B&B price. Incredible find and thoroughly recommended.

The owners are very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The room was huge, well furnished & comfortable as was the en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate, well cooked & in a relaxed environment. The situation of the Hall is also good being a 5 min walk to the park & ride to Durham or if you like walking a 30 min walk to the city. Would definitely stay there again & recommend it to friends.

The friendly welcome and amazing breakfast was best we ever had in over 40 years of travelling. The size of the rooms was amazing. I will definitely use this b&b again and have already recommended it to friends and colleagues.

The bed mattress dipped into the middle even though it was huge-no good for bad backs! Lacking one or two extra touches-eg no drinking glasses in bathroom, no choice of white or brown toast, 'mug' in bedroom too small and fiddly

Very welcoming, warm and cosy, lovely large room and bathroom, ample parking, close to Durham City but lovely and rural country location. Host was very friendly and breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. Definitely worth a visit.

This lovely old house is a world away from your usual b and b. Our stay was faultless,except for the weather! The lovely warm bedroom was huge with a very comfortable bed. The large en-suite bathroom had a very good shower and was also nice and warm. Breakfast was served in the dining room which had coal fire. The food was cooked and served by the owners, Jim and Irene, and our full English breakfast set us up for the day. We can also recommend the locally made jams and marmalade. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely stay there again.
