We liked the proximity to Looe location, and our room ( No 8) especially the comfortable bed which was great (although the availability of a small window aperture for night-time ventilation would have been appreciated). The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we liked the adequate and easy parking facilities. The breakfast service could have been better; having to ask for everyday things like toast, sugar and condiments was not good, and the food was sometimes a bit overcooked. The shower control seemed difficult at first, but once we got the hang of it, was easy enough. We had a bad week weatherwise, and thought a little more heating would have been appropriate, but decided not complain about it. |

The menu was quite varied, especially for breakfast, but no toast and marmalade in the full English!! And no bacon? This is not really a hotel and certainly not a Country House Hotel. It is a pub, keeping pub hours. You can't check in outside restricted opening hours (lunch time and evening). No comfortable lounge anywhere. |

Heel vriendelijke mensen. Lekker eten en ontspannen sfeer. Mooie omgeving. Kleine details, zoals ontbreken van degelijk handdoekenrek bij langer verblijf. Er is niets voorzien voor het weghangen van de jassen. |
