The Snooty Fox Country Hotel & Restaurant  

I have to say I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is intimate, lovely furnished and rooms are independent with entrance directly from the yard. The room was nice, very clean, with good bed, very spaciuos bathroom, and everything that was necessary. Please be careful with one thing, the check-in closes at 9 pm. We arrived arounf 21.30. We had some problems in finding the hotel, the navigator actually took us right into someones backyard. I called the hotel and they guided us until we reached them. Since we arrived late, the restaurant was not taking anymore orders but one of the ladys working there prepared us some sandwiches, which we really likes. They have a very good cider, we absolutelly loved it. The owners are wonderful people, very friendly, especially Stuart (I hope I got his name right) who told us the story behing some of his many tatoos. We had a very good night sleep and in the morning we enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast spiced with Stuarts jokes and courteousy who was kind to give us a table right by the window which gave us an amazing view of the gorgeous suroundings. We plan to go back to the south-west coast of England in the summer and most definetly we will go back to the The Snooty Fox Country Hotel.

The staff were immediatly friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a clean efficient bathroom. There is a comfortable bar and the breakfast was served in a light airy space with great views.

Would have preferred a bath.

Great service. A wet day relieved by a lovely host and a roaring open fire. Nice food (red snapper) and a relaxed stay. Will definitely return.

Very nice location & friendly staff( although only met one who seemed to run the whole show)..........LOVELY Well - cooked , presented & hot food..........overall very satisfied.

Friendly welcome, good food.

We stayed for 7 days and could not really fault anything. The staff were excellent as were all the facilities and there was also a good menu, not forgetting a good selection of beers.We will certainley look forward to our next visit.Peggy&Terry.

We had a really good time at this hotel Met with family for a meal on the Saturday night Food excellent Children friendly Room was very clean and spacious Will definitely be going back!!!

Our stay at the Snooty Fox was perfect . We could not have asked for more . The owners were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others and will certainly return .

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Our room was very spacious, good decor, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We liked the country feel of the bar area, with inviting log fire.

Charming hosts the room was well thoughtoutand; a lot of hotels we have stayed in might learn a thing or two from these hosts.the meals were very good;.the choice of rooms were a clever touch
