Friendliness and helpfulness of owners. Comfortable beds.
Room.. breakfast...broken items..no toiletries... having to get own breakfast..... It should be investigated.!! Rated at 8.2... shocking...
Picton finishing me
The room was clean and warm.
Breakfast very poor, self service, no cups, no butter, dirty kitchen
Friendly staff, comfortable bedroom,
One room not ready when we arrived despite ringing to confirm time would be available. Uncomfortable mattress on bed, would have been better if mattress protector fitted. Asked for ground floor room but put on top floor up 2 flights of quite narrow stairs. Haphazard servicing of room, one day no cups, one day no milk. Cleanliness could have been better - stain on curtains & lampshade. Room overlooked noisy road which wasn't good for sleeping.
Friendly staff, free Wi-Fi. Good shower in ensuite bathroom. Had one or two problems which they did their best to sort out.
You could see that the design of the room and dinning room had been given a lot of thought but the decoration looked like it had been done by a blind painter. The lock on room door was falling out and there was a gap in the UPVC window frame that you could see daylight through.
the owner of the hotel was very helpful and really pleasant. The price including breackfast was brilliant.
The location is out of the city but above a pub so had some noise on the Saturday night.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and no issues during stay. Cheap taxis or buses to main city centre.
Awfully nice staff - got a warm welcome from Denny at reception. The twin beds were super comfy, the duvets warm enough. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was brand new. The wifi and small TV worked perfectly and even if our bedroom was next to the road, we didn't hear a thing at night. Very quiet, very comfortable and hard to beat at such a price.
He offered to refund some of the room cost as it was not ready. It still hasn't happened.
The guy on tge front desk was friendly.
Simple and good
Easy access to and from location for my visit
- The neighborhood where the hotel is, is quite dirty and weird. It looked a little bit dangerous to be honest, but it is outside of Liverpool centre city so it was expected. - You have to take the bus if you don't want to walk for an hour - Our room door handle was broken, as well as the bathroom door. But if you are gonna stay there only for a day or a couple of days, I'd recommended because it was quite cheap and I've been in worst places for more money.
- The room was fantastic. The bed was huge and they had this little guide that was really useful to find places to visit, takeaway restaurants, the transport... - The guy was really nice and ready to answer the questions that we had about the city
Wasn't bad experience was just a little noisy from the road outside (if you are light sleeper) x
The room was very big and clean staff very helpful x
Decent location, really handy for a taxi or bus into the city centre for £5! Not a whole lot to I but nothing wrong either, door into the bathroom had a hole kicked in it but not badly. Other than that, room was adequate!
I can't actually fault this hotel. For the price you get more than expected. Would definitely stay here again
No staff to welcome you. Lighting in room atrocious if you wanted to apply make up etc. Rooms are way too close together, while sleeping in the morning we thought someone was trying to enter our room and the staff seemed to have no consideration for people who were trying to sleep.
We liked the big bed, it was super comfortable and spacious. The bed linen was spotless and smelt fresh and clean. Great location with a bus stop very close by. Lovely pub called The Wellington beside the property with excellent staff. Room very clean on arrival.
Great hotel my daughter attends Hope University and lives in Wavertree.
Dirty smelly poor security people wandering around trying our door all night,we did not try the breakfast as the guy looked like he hadn't washed his hands for a week, truly the worst hotel in liverpool if not the country you have been warned
No staff, poor breakfast
Price, room, parking
Just a few minor things: It was not very convenient not to find shampoo and soap in the shower, especially when arriving at night. Perhaps the carpet wanted some cleaning. It was a bit noisy at night, but I guess it depends on the room you stay in.
I liked everything, the hotel offers what they promise. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was just fine, the rooms were cleaned regularly and fresh towels offered daily.
