damp patches on wall and celine, holes in the walls, door handle very loose, dirt patches on the carpets, it is next to a pub that is open very late so is very noisy wouldn't recommend staying there
Very good service, comfortable clean rooms,
The room was very clean & more than adequate for a single traveller staying one night.
Some small niggles. There wasn 't a spoon to stir my coffee . The remote control was not very useful& I could not alter the volume up or down . Awkward for an elderly traveller, there was nobody in reception when I arrived & I had to telephone to have somebody open the door. & let me in . I know most people have mobile 'phones but what happens if you don 't ?
Nice large room Loved the sofa in the bedroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being allowed to use facilities in the dining room in the evening.
No shelf in the shower to put my soap and shampoo. Some hooks in the bathroom to hang our towels (yes! in addition to the hot rail) No full length mirror. Need net curtains on the Windows as was overlooking a very busy main road.
staff very friendly, not too far from city centre by bus, good TV, tea facilities, ok size rooms
not the best neighbourhood, no elevator, very basic breakfast, small shower, no shower soap/shampoo, some noise from pub downstairs, but worst were the mattrasses-very poor quality, felt the springs right through and really just as if sleeping on the floor.
value for money, big bed, the staff was helpfull
Breakfast is not very good, with a poor choice of some cereals, butter and jam. The dining room is generally not on the same level as the rooms.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The room was huge and wifi was very reliable. The hotel is on a number of bus routes to the city centre so location is perfect as it is much cheaper than the hotels in the city centre.
The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless and quite comfortable.
The breakfast options were poor
Helpful staff, good service
Very small, cold, smelling rooms. Broken stuff in the bathroom. One day we had neither light nor warm water, it was fixed pretty quickly but a cold shower was not very pleasant. Everything old. Very poor breakfast. No value for money!
Staff were great, place was clean, everything we needed. Value for money.
How people received us
Stayed here for 2 nights and cant fault the place. the check in guy was excellent and gave loads of helpful information on what to see locally and how to get to the city centre etc. We were given a room on the 1st floor and was big, airy and clean and perfectly adequate for the price we paid. There is a bus stop into the city centre outside the hotel and costs about £2.40 each way and run every ten minutes or so. Its too far to walk really. All in all, an excellent budget hotel
very narrow stairs, tricky with a big suitcase,
Helpful staff. Reasonable rate.
A little run down but did suit our needs.
Rooms clean and tidy .Good location to get to city and football stadiums .
Could not get the wifi
1) clean sheets.
1)drains in shower try flooded, couldn't take a shower. 2) bed was in very poor state. 3) carpet in room very dirty. 4) room was next to a live disco club music until 12:30am
Great size room which was spotless. Good location surrounded by pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Staff very friendly and choice of continental self service breakfast although basic was adequate to set up your day. Would definitely recommend for a budget stay.
Room was directly looking out to a very busy main road therefore traffic noise was constant but didn't disturb my sleep. TV a bit on the small side
The stuff was very welcoming and friendly, all the areas were very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, easy access to the city center. It is a budget hotel but you can see that there is a lot of effort put into it and a great respect for their clients, as everything was impeccable. The breakfast is basic but for the price of the rooms you wouldn't expect to have one included so that is a plus. I would recommend it 100%.
big room we stayed in location is good on bus route nearby pubs somewhere to eat in eveing without going into town centre very frendly staff very helpful breakfast was good to
bed wasnt that comfy but my husband didn't say anything
The price, room size. Bus into town. Great value for money. Wi fi strong. NIce breakfast
It is far from the city center. small parking lot.
Overall a nice comfortable room with great hospitality.
It was very non-expensive, clean and roomy.
The street noise was a little annoying - the walls seemed very thin.
staff were awesome and it was a decent enough room to sleep in. we were down for a wedding so literally just slept here.
very basic facilities
Small car park
Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized room. clean bedding and towels. Very cheap
Stains on walls and carpets. Poor finishings on door handles, trims and plaster bashed and coming off walls. Noisy road outside and pub noise.
Great location, very clean, very welcoming, easy to get to
Nothing to dislike
