Free parking Near Archway tube Very quiet Staff helpful Room spacious
Furnishings rather impersonal and clinical Needed coffe table and lamp in seating area.
2 floors nice layout and a fresh new feel to it.
bathroom format as it was a shower room. could have done with a bath tub and shower also more privacy some how
Close to underground and buses. Clean, nice modern facilities.
Airconditioner struggled as the ceilings are high and aircon is placed very high. A covering for the high window would enable better sleep too.
The location to the nearest tube station was great, 2 minute walk. the apartment was clean and good value for money
we went out and were back at 11pm, the door was locked and there was nobody on reception, meaning we were stood outside for about half hour waiting to get back in to the building.
Location was good for the Forum. Area was quiet.
Staff were unhelpful in solving a problem of their making: was given a disabled room not of the standard of which I paid. Was then given a different room after a fight. Still not what was paid for.
Handy location and quiet Plenty of space Very comfortable bed
Needed a table & chairs for eating Would have liked to be able to open a window without having to get staff member to do it
Shower did not work. Music late into the night
Extremely friendly staff who went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Very comfortable beds. Our studio had a patio door.
Kitchen needed just a coupke more utensils ie corkscrew, nicer glasses.
Loads of space, clean bathroom, good shower, small but useful kitchen area.
Lounge area a bit sparse and not very comfortable.
Clean, comfy and friendly staff
We where working nights and the daylight through the velux window disturbed our sleep. A velux blind would of made it ok . There was no TV to the first floor bedroom.
Clean Great Staff Comfy Beds Modern Decor Kitchenette in Room Free Wifi
Only had one fork in kitchen No Tea towel in Kitchenette
Finally we had a bed, for a reservation made 6 months ago.
Because of overbooking or maintenance, we were relocated in Fulham (40mn of taxi away). I had to pay an additional £120 for taxi journeys. The relocation address was a construction site, close to the main road: noise guaranteed. Awful experience !
the location was ideal for where I was going that evening and the next day: one of very few places to stay in the Archway/Highgate area. I also like having cooking facilities and a (large) fridge in my room.
Surprisingly - for accommodation with cooking facilities - there was NO table (or desk) or anywhere to sit and eat. Also, although it was a double room, there was only one chair - which was no problem to me as I was there alone; but would have been more so if I had had a companion.
Good location for us as we were meeting friends in Crouch End. Plus, very easy for tube. Pretty paved, very clean garden area.
The price - a tiny 1bed apartment for £199 for 1 night was pretty steep. A couple of marks on living room carpet. Pretty ropey bed in bedroom - springs were easy to feel!
The quirkiness of the room. The size of the bathroom and shower. Big windows looking out on to trees.
Wating till our room was ready ( just a blip I guess, but at the end of a long journey sitting in a corridor is no fun when gasping for a cup of tea)
My advice would be not to book this hotel. Serious noise problems from the rooms upstairs, even though guests are just behaving normally.
Good location, just a few minutes to the tube. Value for money, nice small appartment.
The double bed for (even!) kids was too small. I can not imagine it for adult couple! And there is definitely no privacy - there are no two separate rooms (bedroom opened above "livingroom" with sofabed) - I do not recomment to two couples. And kitchen is not kitchen, just MW.
location & close to 2 stations
no elivator force us to carry heavet bags two floors, poor houskeeping staff i complain twice to get the room clean as it should be
Close to where my son has his house, close to the tube station and Highgate Village. Facility to park the car. The bathroom was a good sizes.
The apartment we had I felt could have been organised better by having the main bedroom on the ground floor, upstairs should have been the main t.v room with a small sofa and proper double bed, the sofa bed is not suitable for two adults to sleep. Needs a full length mirror and unfinished work around the room
We loved the building. It was so clean and quiet and tucked away, yet convenient for the tube station. The main bedroom was very comfortable.
The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable for my son. Also there was no tv upstairs as advertised.
- very clever conversion of old school, so plenty of character - good quality fittings, with a lot of attention to detail - very spacious room - very modern décor - plenty of power points
- this isn't the most central of locations, but the hotel is well located for excellent transport links (by bus and tube) into central London - while I liked the minimalist, spacious approach, a second bed-side table (instead of just one) would be good (room 105)
Cleanliness and wifi were very good.
The sofa double beds that are extremely squeaky and uncomfortable due to the fact that you can feel the springs.
Cleanliness, appearance of outside of building, location. the upstairs bedroom was lovely bathroom and shower spotless
the sofa bed is absolutely not suitable for one adult let alone the two we had! we ended up dragging the 'mattress' on the floor.... until we could take no more of the discomfort... and at 2am had to ask your reception for spare mattresses! It is such a shame that the poor quality dofa bed lets down the duplex as its a wonderful idea and very well done. Also.... you need corkscrews!
The property was clean and modern with excellent bathroom facilities and good kitchen. Plenty of wardrobe space and great TV.
We didn't get the luxury room described when we booked, but instead were allocated the detached garden suite. The bed was uncomfortable with sharp 'buttons' digging in our backs. A tea towel would have been useful in the kitchen, and the lounge was lacking a coffee/occasional table. Only one bedside lamp for a double bed. On arrival, the staff did not show us to our room, but expected us to find our own way around the back of the building and discover for ourselves how to use the key card, lights and air conditioning remote control. There was confusion during our card payment which was left unresolved until we discovered on departure that it had been OK after all. We nearly paid twice. When told about the uncomfortable bed the receptionist said, somewhat vaguely, "Oh dear, sorry about that." No info in the room about attractions, local services, or hotel facilities; was a breakfast available? if so we were never told about it. The Garden Suite feels isolated from the hotel with no contact with reception, day or night, which seemed to us to be unmanned much of the time anyway. All in all a very disappointing stay. Fortunately we were there for only one night.
The location was fantastic for travelling to the Emirates. It was peaceful and the staff were polite and helpful.
Our rooms did not appear to be exactly like the photos online. The bedroom upstairs did not have the bed pictured. Bathroom was smaller than expected however the finish was very nice.
