Great location for Hammersmith Apollo and well placed for cafes, pubs, shopping centre and the tube. The apartment was very smart, well modernised, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our apartment had 2 bathrooms, a double bed and a bed-settee and slept 3 comfortably. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.
It was not just a room but a studio and had everything we needed.
Could have done with the tea and coffee condiments refilling.
The location and staff
No value for money. Apartment too small/tight and sofa bed old and in need of replacement and infested with Bed bugs!!!
Very warm and friendly staff - really nice people who went the extra mile to make sure my needs were met Very close proximity to Hammersmith tube Strong, fast free wifi Extremely clean Great value for money (we did get an upgrade) Nice pubs and restaurants in the immediate vicinity Room complete with iron and ironing board, ample towels, cutlery and delft, all in perfect condition
Our apartment was not used often and, while perfectly clean, could have been a bit more aired out
Space, location and facilities.
The fact that on a two night stay staff were in the apartment three times to our knowledge (once to check lights, collect rubbish and to deliver an iron). How many times they were there when we were out I have no idea.
Location and spacious rooms
Bed bugs in my room
On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp clean and the location is perfect for the Apollo Eventim.
The web photos are not a true representation of the reality. The furniture and kitchen facilities were rather tired and so was the carpet.
Near to underground, very helpfull staf, good equipment of kitchen
Noisy around works of destroying of a building
Location & staff
Our room smelled musty and the extra bed mattress was old and damaged.
Friendly staff, good security,
Washing machine was inoperable. Beddings were not replaced daily.
The staff - Bilal, Sam, Fahad, Joudeh, Callum, were extraordinarily friendly and nothing was too much to ask. We were given an upgrade on arrival and the rooms were really clean and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were more comfortable than any others we stayed in on this trip and we slept really well. Hammersmith, while not completely central, is on the Picadilly líne, and it's just a few stops to get to central London. The area had a lot going on and plenty of good places to eat and shop. We really enjoyed our stay there and my children wanted to stay for longer! We thought the price was very reasonable for this level of comfort and service.
Really, honestly, there was nothing we could find fault with. Perhaps some people would find it difficult to get up the stairs with no lifts, but the staff were always ready to help. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to London. A big "thank you" to all the staff there!!
Location to the apollo parking opposite / on the street nearby (free after 5pm) rooms clean
no lift - lots of stairs drag a case up No A/C - really hot
+ Very good location, close to Hammersmith Broadway where you can find all the convenience + Staff were attentive and very helpful
- Need to improve on cleaniness. There were mosquitos in the apartment, spotted even spider web on wall lamp - Should have made proper checks before guests check-in: > need to ask for the kettle > shower knots were not working properly - Need to improve on the ventilation in the bathrooms as the room became very damp because of the steam after each shower
The proximity to Hammersmith underground (5' walk). Spacious apartment
Beds & Mattresses were horrible Basement apartment and very humid No cleaning for 4 nights Mold and foul smell around the apartment Backyard closed and dirty Shower had hot water only No air-condition Noise from a nearby construction site Definitely NOT a 4*
Fab location and able to drop bags off early which was great. Very clean.
Some of the furniture was a bit dated...the sofa bed had seen better days.
no laundry facility, builing site oposite the hotel but this is nothing they can do.
Friendly staff. Great room
Location near to Hammersmith station - nice comfort of the room and helpful staff to take my luggage up to the room under the roof - cleanness of the accomodation
Early leaving for 11 am, would have wished to stay a bit longer for 1 pm - but kind arrangement to leave for 12 am at least
no lift, 3rd floor on a narrow staircase is not really doable for older people.
So Sienna’s location is excellent. There is a Barclay city bike station directly next to So Sienna, the Hammersmith Underground and Bus Station is 5 minutes walk away, and other bus stops are even closer. Hammersmith is a major public transport intersection through which 4 underground lines run and buses move to all parts of London. All major shopping requirements could be met on King Street, less than 5 minutes from So Sienna. There is plenty of storage space in the apartment in the way of cupboards and drawers. Power socket outlets are plentiful and all around the rooms, a very important detail when each member of the family has several devices they need to plug in. The Apartment was well equipped. The staff was very helpful and provided anything we asked for. The price was excellent compared with prices of similar rentals in London.
Construction work is going on in the lot facing So Sienna. During our stay it was in the demolishing and jackhammering phase, so was often very noisy. In addition, the train track is directly behind the construction site, and with no building in place the noise from the trains passing through is unobstructed, further adding to the noise of the construction work. With windows closed, the noise level is not a problem, but we would usually have the windows open for fresh and cool air. (I wonder if the noise problem is the reason the prices are so competitive?) The sofa bed is not comfortable, especially if 2 are to sleep on it. There is no elevator (lift) and the stairway is very narrow (but quite plushly carpeted). This could be a problem for the elderly or guests with large and heavy luggage. Some minor things I suggest the owners should provide that would improve the apartment further: Peephole on the door, light over bathroom mirror (the bathroom is not very well lit), a broom and dustpan in the room that occupants can use between the weekly room cleanings, and a doorbell (with the TV on and the living room door closed, we did not always hear knocking on the door), Overall, the experience at So Sienna was very good, the positive points outweighed the negatives, and we will be happy to stay there on our future visits to London.
The location was fine as we needed to stay somewhere while relocating. The bathrooms were clean with good showers. It was good to have a terrace and the apartment felt quite spacious
The dishwasher didn't work and although staff sorted it out, this took 24 hours. In addition the washing machine didn't work to begin with and the staff had to call out the handyman to determine what was wrong and fix it. The flat was advertised as being luxury, but the carpets were worn, the sofa bed mattress was ripped and dirty and the sofa didn't look nice. In addition there were only 3 knives when we arrived and although another one was added when requested, we had asked for more as 1 set of cutlery per person (we are a family of 4) is not really sufficient. The pans were scratched and the frying pan handle was very loose, but no non-stick utensils were supplied so it is not surprising the pans were marked. We were only given one set of keys and although there is a 24hr reception my husband and I would have preferred a set each. We felt that despite the staff being helpful in responding to most of these problems, the flat offered very poor value for money.
Lundry machine couldn't use for several days. That means we had to wash our cloths manually or take paid cleaning service. I chose this apartment type hotel why we could use lundry machine in our room,to no avail.
Everything is too slow as there is only one staff at the reception. They don't clean the room every day. The bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was damaged. There is a building just in front which is being demolished. The noise is terrible and the floor is continuously trembling. Very poor value for money. I don't recommend it.
It was close to Hammersmith tube station. The Wi-Fi strength was good.
Shower head was broken. Reported it to reception but they explained maintenance were not available, so could not have a decent shower during my stay.
Very comfortable and welcoming
Small thing but I wish they d had tea towels In the survey above it doesn't cover older mother and daughter..needs to be a bit broader ....
