The staff could not have been more helpful or accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and immaculately kept, the room was tasteful and pleasant. The food was wonderful too!
The parking was a bit of a bind, but nothing unexpected for the area, and not a problem as the owners moved my car for me in the morning!
Wonderful Guest house, period features, clean comfortable rooms and a truly lovely family run business .
very cosy B&B, each room was uniquely and lovingly furnished
Nice hosts. Good quality breakfast. High quality b&b.
The owners were very kind and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was very good. Each area of the house was exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated.
Nothing at all!
I Was upgraded to the beautiful master room with sumptuously comfortable bed and jacuzzi. The room was spotless and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff and owners. Breakfast was delicious and very nicely presented. Would highly recommend to all.
A greater selection of TV channels would be good.
I booked last minute there was no hassle, very lovely place and staff very welcoming. Breakfast plenty of choice excellent. Room was perfect with wifi. Overall Awesome :)
very warm & friendly welcome!! airy, nice, clean room with lush ensuite bathroom breakfast: plenty and tasty, prepared with love helpful advice
location: no pubs or restaurants in walking distance; the very well kept B&B stands out among neglected houses and front gardens WiFi didn't seem to work very well: we could hardly open an internet website We only got 2 small shower gel bags each, which is not much for 2 days Very limited parking space is an issue, but the owners move your car if you trust them with your keys - a second parking lot is apparently being prepared
Enjoyed the blueberry pancake breakfast, what a change from a fry up!
car parking - however this is being improved shortly.
Treated like one of the family. Private car park, very tight and needed shuffling around but member of staff did it for me.
Nothing, except road works on the way.
Top quality B and B. Very friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Recommended
The only minor thing. The building is beautifully built open and tiled which makes it a bit noisy at night with guests doors closing. Probably more a factor of noisy guests than the house.
Very warm welcome, excellent service and breakfast, very comfortable lounge
Even though the wifi worked very well, the internet connection was sometimes very slow.
Soar Chappel is a really lovely place. Extremely comfy and really well presented accommodation. The staff are pleasant and attentive, especially Chloe. Would recommend to anybody.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts.
Hrd beds. Stairs up to guest lounge very steep. We found parking difficult - narrow laneway access and tight entrance into small back yard -helps to have a little car.
beautiful accommodation, Lesley and Chloe/family very friendly, excellent breakfast/choices and homely atmosphere, use of the 2 x open plan lounge areas on the middle floor and large TV made it feel like home.
Internet connection didn't work the days we were there.
Gorgeous accommodation - lovely furnishings and decor. Staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and caring. Great facilities.
A friendly welcome; a lovely family...A beautifully decorated and 'loved' guest house. The breakfast was bountiful...with lots of choice. Plenty of guidance and information about the area was given. It's located only a short drive away from the Beacon's. A really lovely place all round.
Very strong squeaking floors from the top of the guests
Hospitality and value
very warm welcome, good location for touring S.Wales and lovely breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely lounge area for playing games & watching TV Proximity to Head of the Valleys road, and therefore access to Brecon Beacons etc.
The ambience of the building which used to be a church. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The beautiful breakfast. Comfortable beds.
The usual flight of stairs to our room!
We were made to feel very welcome with amazing welsh cakes on arrival. We appreciated the great friendliness of everybody and the masses of lounge space (although our bedroom was a very good size). Most helpful when we left stuff behind in our room.
Parking was very tight but always worked out in the end.
