Staff attention to detail good. Room decor beautiful. Comfort excellent and food delicious...fantastically presented. This is the second time we have stayed and experience was as good as first. Love rellocation of dining room. New lounge very comfortable.
Room was rather cool initially....it was a very cold day. We did use room fan heater.
Friendly staff who were attentive great views
Everything from the warm welcome, the beautiful room and excellent food - only sorry we could not stay longer
Grand Georgian Hotel , great setting . Kept clean, warm with cozy winter fires . Food was very good and not too pricey , even for cheap skate like me. Staff friendly .
No sauna or steam room.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Really excellent food and a generally welcoming atmosphere.
Few problems with plumbing but it was fixed as soon as I mentioned it.
Lovely place to stay but not easy to find in the dark!!!
Directions where poor
lovely place staff very friendly .great peaceful location.room was excellent with nice view and a four ostr will large bathroom will visit again.Marvelous hotel.Shame we only stayed one night
Good service all round
Lack of power from the shower
I booked this for my parents and was really pleased that specific requests I made such as a quiet room and a bath not shower where adhered to.
Location Food Staff friendliness
Room was in tables which was practical but in December hard to get warm
Great value. Stayed room 1 with four poster. Free bathrooms n slippers great. Breakfast in room no extra ciost. Well worth paying dinner bed breakfast.
Large comfy rooms, with good facilities. Fast response to a request for Iron.
There was no one around to receive breakfast order, and had to wait a while. Limited pastries available. Scrambled eggs were nice and creamy, but tasteless. Menu stated a large flat mushroom grilled, and I got small quartered mushrooms that had been sauted.
I liked every thing about the hotel
The staff were very helpful, breakfast was good, the hotel was very clean and tidy
The bed, it had a very soft mattress, which personally, I don't like. Apart from that very good value for money, possibly a little too far from the main road, but that can't be held against it.
The whole break
Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Lovely bathroom, pleanty of hot water. Food very good.
Only negative was we were taken in for our evening meal earlier than planned and waiter didn't offer to carry drinks through to dining room. A minor thing, I know, but little things can make the difference.
Staff on arrival very welcoming.Evening meal very nice bed very comfortable. An excellent experience.
Really nothing except to the shower very slow.
The welcome The staff they really care
Nothing - Very Good
staff were excellent, very polite, professional and attentive. the rooms are beautiful, well decorated and in great condition. Room was very clean.
The quality of the hotel, the room, the restaurant and the lovely staff.
An unfortunate fish odour from the kitchen we first arrived but this was cleared once we mentioned it to staff. Possibly exacerbated by the close proximity of our room to the kitchen.
LOCATION EXCELLENT FOR MOORS DALES AND COAST
THE WEATHER! THE FOG! BUT NO CONTROL OF THESE....
The room we stayed in was enormous and very beautifully laid out.
The night we stayed there was a ball and the other customers were very noisy and woke us several times during the night.
The large bedroom although dated was clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was modern. Customer service is excellent, staff are extremely professional and polite. Breakfast was outstanding both in terms of the local produce and service. Excellent value for money I would recommend and return.
Would have preferred a more modern furnished bedroom but the furniture was in good condition. The floorboards in the corridor outside the bedroom creaked a lot but it's a period house and fortunately there was only one bedroom past ours.
Very good food, & staff. A real pleasure to stay in such a fine hotel.
