We have stayed at Solberge Hall several times over the last twelve months and are very impressed with the rooms,staff and dining experience.It will not be long before we make our next booking and hopefully will stay in our favourite room ,with beautiful views over open countryside

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent though no A la carte menu due to power cut for 4 hours so had "Posh Fish and Chips" which were the best fish and chips we have ever tasted.Would have thought the hotel would have waved the bill for dinner due to being on a romantic break for wifes birthday and having booked A La Carte meal. 4 poster bed was very very comfortable, room was nice an big. Location was lovely and quiet. Room had pot of cold tea that looked like it had been there for sometime.

Mainly the staff, they were so nice and friendly. The hotel is old and beautiful perfect for romantic weekends or any other reaks away. Would not hesitate going back.

Pretty much everything, the staff were especially good. It is in a lovely quiet location within easy reach of NorthAllerton (where I have occasion to work) and the A1M. On this occasion I got a bargain price for the 2 night B & B too.

Beautiful old hotel in a lovely location. Excellent food and great service Friendly, helpful staff Peace and quiet a change from the usual business box No proper desk and chair to work at in the room Electric shower, inconsistent temperature and low flow a bit out in the wilds, especially on a cold December night!

Friendly efficient staff who made you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave. Beautiful hotel location and not too difficult to find (even in the fog)!!! I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely comfortable room and bathroom. The breakfast selection was good but the continental selection was far too big. A help yourself would be preferable and less wasteful. Room service food in the evening was limited but acceptable.

Pleasant surroundings convenient for Northallerton Central heating didn't seem to be working. Had an electric fire in the room which was ok but had to be left on all night as it was a large room. Decor tired but comfortable.

The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was large and pleasant. The menue and food were well presented and the food was excellent. The hotel has seen better days and the several areas need refurbishing. We had a premier room. The four poster bed was hard and very high and creaked rather alarmingly when getting in or out. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly and the wardrobe doors squeaked at the slightest provocation.

Just about everything. I've stayed several times before. Its a lovely looking building from the front and the views from the front towards the North York Moors are spectacular. Inside, what was an air of faded grandeur has received a bit of a make over and is looking quite grand again. Food and wine is excellent in both quality and choice. Staff veryu friendly and helpful Nothing I didn't like other than I never seem to get to stay for more than one night!

It's very convenient for my purposes. Very pleasant staff, building and surroundings Food very nice . As I travel to this venue regularly and on my own, I'm very comfortable there. It's all looking a bit tired at the moment but I gather it's having an upgrade.

The service from all the staff was excellent and the food could not be faulted.Yes some of the decor is a little tired but this is a country house hotel not a modern glass fronted box. It has a great deal of charm, is excellent value and we have re-booked for another stay.

We have stayed at Solberg Hall Hotel several times now and would not go anywhere else in the area. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and the breakfast is spectacular. Staff are efficient, polite and helpful. We would highly reommend this lovley hotel.
