The whole break
Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Lovely bathroom, pleanty of hot water. Food very good.
Only negative was we were taken in for our evening meal earlier than planned and waiter didn't offer to carry drinks through to dining room. A minor thing, I know, but little things can make the difference.
Staff on arrival very welcoming.Evening meal very nice bed very comfortable. An excellent experience.
Really nothing except to the shower very slow.
The welcome The staff they really care
Nothing - Very Good
staff were excellent, very polite, professional and attentive. the rooms are beautiful, well decorated and in great condition. Room was very clean.
The quality of the hotel, the room, the restaurant and the lovely staff.
An unfortunate fish odour from the kitchen we first arrived but this was cleared once we mentioned it to staff. Possibly exacerbated by the close proximity of our room to the kitchen.
LOCATION EXCELLENT FOR MOORS DALES AND COAST
THE WEATHER! THE FOG! BUT NO CONTROL OF THESE....
The room we stayed in was enormous and very beautifully laid out.
The night we stayed there was a ball and the other customers were very noisy and woke us several times during the night.
The large bedroom although dated was clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was modern. Customer service is excellent, staff are extremely professional and polite. Breakfast was outstanding both in terms of the local produce and service. Excellent value for money I would recommend and return.
Would have preferred a more modern furnished bedroom but the furniture was in good condition. The floorboards in the corridor outside the bedroom creaked a lot but it's a period house and fortunately there was only one bedroom past ours.
Very good food, & staff. A real pleasure to stay in such a fine hotel.
Eceptional staff personal ,without being over the top .Food superb,we had dinner and breakfast.Small country hotel with excellent all round comforts aned service.Wish we could have stayed afew more days.
Location amazing, with stunning views. Staff extremely helpful. Open fires in all public rooms and very adequate heating elsewhere. Room large and luxurious. Food very good, with extensive menu. Cannot fault anything. Will undoubtedly stay there next time I am in the area. Can recommend it unreservedly (provided you have a car).
Personal service and excellent food.
I thought the breakfast buffet was excellent given the rate of the room
Water pressure in shower a little low
Stayed one night - staff were friendly, helpful and attendant. The food was excellent both the dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely, big, very clean, well stocked and comfortable - I would highly recommend this hotel...
There was an initial misunderstanding over whether we had booked a suite (2 separate rooms) or a double room (as two work-colleagues, a double room was inappropriate). The receptionist immediately showed us a choice of two beautiful suites and arranged for our room to be changed at no extra charge. The suite was far beyond the standard I was expecting. Perfect!
Excellent attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Accommodation beautifully furnished and very well appointed
Having to leave!

I'm struggling here ...

ONE OF THE ROOMS (ROOM 5) RATHER COLD
The staff are very welcoming. The food from the restaurant menu is imaginative and well cooked. Rooms 1,2, and 3 are large comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is delicous and the service is efficient.
be prepared to run the shower or bath for a while before hot water arrives.not a problem just be aware
The quality of the bedrooms very clean throughout delicious and hearty breakfast staff helpful would be more stars if had more facilities as I felt the quality far outweighed some hotels we have stayed in with higher star ratings.
