Good central hotel. We had business at the Willows Vet Hospital and this was well situated. Also for the really good shopping cerntre.
Reception efficient but not welcoming or friendly. Cold do better.
Bathroom small and could do with a revamp.
staff were so helpful the booking with Chloe who sorted the room she knew we likes which was the best for our little dog. The Housekeeper Teresa was so good to us and so concerned about our pet who was attending the vet, Every thing was marvelous thank you all. Not our first and wont be our last visit !!
Large, comfortable room Spacious longe/bar area
The restaurant was closed for the evening for a Christmas party..would have appreciated prior warning of this.
Great location, excellent shops and good service from hotel staff
The duvets need to be a bit bigger on the single beds
BreKfast and Xmas tree at the entrance
Poor room quality, tired furniture, no minibar, meal time frame too limited
Location. Reception staff. Gym/pool facilities.
Room cleaning. A black bra was on the chair which was pushed under the desk. Imagination ran riot.
Location - opposite the shopping mall, and only a quarter of a mile from train station. Being able to leave the car in the car park on the day of departure until early afternoon at no extra charge.
Staff at breakfast on Saturday morning 22 November, seating guests in the corner from 9.30am onwards to keep the remainder of the dining room clean after they had prepared the tables for later in the day. Another guest commented that it was like being put in the 'naughty corner'! Thankfully different staff on Sunday 23rd and we were able to sit anywhere.
the room was clean and the staff very pleasant
Across the road from a large shopping centre with loads of places to eat.
Location and breakfast.
We asked for a room overlooking the lake and were given one overlooking the carpark.
Location, Car park, Staff, roomy bedroom, free tea/coffe drinks machines in lobby areas
Hard bed, no free wifi access even in the lobby area
staff, location, comfort, relaxed, breakfast
I liked everything
Good sized room and bathroom, comfy bed and pillows. Had a very good evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent.
We are Club Members so got free WiFi and should have had a free newspaper, which we didn't get. Informed the receptionist that we hadn't received the paper and was more or less accused of lying. To be honest I really wasn't that bothered, however, I was rather annoyed at her attitude. She redeemed herself on checkout and didn't charge us for parking.
Staff, location, breakfast.
Getting out of the car park in the evening.
Gym, pool, steam room, sauna. Closeness to Birmingham, quiet room, friendly staff.
Should have booked longer so could try the food!
No free WiFi in room or public areas
The hotel was situated in a lovely location and very handy for the local shops and restaurants in Solihull. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The spa facilities provided a lovely, relaxing retreat.
Our room (223) was situated next to the lift which was very noisy when in use. As it was being fairly regularly used from around 6.30am it prevented me from sleeping from then on.
Everything as expected, no complaints
Bad smell from bathroom!
State of the rooms - Given a dirty room then when this was changed we were given a room where the nets were all ripped.
All the staff were friendly and efficient. Good coffee available. Clean and comfortable room. Convenient for town and shopping centre. We hope to stay again.
Paying for the car park. A party/club was quite loud until 1pm. Some of the furniture in public areas needs replacing.
We went to an event at the NEC. This hotel was only a 10 min drive away. Location was great. Right over the road from a shopping centre with Cinema, restaurants etc. Breakfast good. Room clean and a fair size. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Paid parking! Spent enough on the room without having to pay extra for on site parking. Pool and changing room looking very old and tatty.
Paying for car parking
Hotel very well placed for our show at NEC Have stayed here many times before and like the hotel. Staff are very good especially at breakfast - rooms are usually comfortable and clean
Despite booking months previously I didn't get the room the room I wanted! My allocated room (309) was quite shabby with dirty carpets and a very poor shower - not what I expect from over £100/night! May reconsider my options for future stays
