It isn’t a very nice hotel, kind of sad, I would say, and the breakfast was mildly adequate

I wasn't advised of times of breakfast and paid for bed and breakfast and when I went down for breakfast it had finished, should have been told when I checked in, fair enough I also should have double checked and not assumed. Also when I booked there was no mention of a car park charge and yet when I checked out I had to pay for it but again wasn't told when I checked in or on this web site - not happy.

When we arrived we were greeted by a rather grand entrance lobby and nicely designed reception area. The staff were all very friendly towards us especially in the bar/lounge area. We felt very welcome and accommodated throughout our stay and felt the staff would have helped with whatever request we had. The rooms were very clean, tidy and modern with all amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

You have to pay £5 to park there and its a bit of a hassle getting out of the carpark onto the main road as the road always seemed incredibly busy!

It was near enough to our family, convenient for shops just across the road (including John Lewis!) and the spa was excellent.

Bed was a bit hard.

Nice pool and good location

It is very close to the fantastic Touchwood shopping centre! The bed was very comfortable and the temperature in the room could be adapted very easily. I also liked the fact that there was an abundance of power points throughout the room, a large coffee table and a comfortable armchair.

The rooms are not very sound proof and you can hear everything from the corridor including; slamming doors, housekeeping talking to each other early in the morning etc. Some gadget on the door to stop them from slamming when they close would be a good idea. Car parking is £5 per day, I think that this should be included in the price of the room as there are no other options. The shower wasn't very powerful.

A very good location for shopping in Solihull & exploring the surrounding region. Excellent range of restaurants & pubs nearby.
