This modern non-smoking hotel with fully refurbished public areas and bedrooms is found in a fantastic downtown location. The hotel is 5 minutes from highway M42 and within walking distance of a shopping and entertainment complex. Holiday Inn Solihull has recently completed a refurbishment program and now boasts an extremely stylish and contemporary styled interior with 1st class decor for the comfort of guests. A beautiful patio area and garden overlooks a lake and fountain, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Alternatively the health and fitness club provides a range of excellent facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool. The hotel is just 15 minutes from the NEC events center. My husband and I wanted a weekend away from the children. Solihull with its shops, mall, restaurants was a perfect location - not too far but with plenty of variety - with the Bull Ring just a few miles away. The Holiday Inn was the cherry on top. We had a lovely room, it was quiet and peaceful. We have both stayed at the hotel previously so know the high standards that they maintain in their service to their guests. It was a lovely weekend.

Great location for access to Solihull town centre, shops & restaurants. Didn't need to take the car out again once we'd parked in the hotel car park. My 8 year old son loved the hotel especially the swimming pool area.

Very helpful and friendly staff, hotel clean comfortable, breakfast great good service, room and bed clean and very comfy. Shopping mall opposite perfect for addicts like me!! A really pleasant and enjoyable stay, would definetely return.

near the NEC, clean, good facility - hairdryer, kettle etc clean bathroom we were in room 220, there should be a warning that the guests in this room need to be deaf, there were 13 air conditioning units outside our window, a horrendous drone alnight, boosted at times throughout the evening and night, the windows are rotten - so bad that the windowlatch has been moved up the wood and painted over the rotten area, which does not help the draft coming through the space - draft all night. when booking out no one asked how the stay was just asked for the £5 car park fee - i then had to ask for my change when i gave her £10 note. not happy

Location, close to shopping, cinema (for me) and near to conference my daughter was attending. Beds were rather hard, the spa lacked loungers to relax on, haven't had to pay for parking before.

That it was very close to the shops and eating places. The fact that you have to pay £5 to park your car when you are on the hotel grounds, the cost of your room is enough to pay so don't see why we should be charged to park your car!

I wasn't advised of times of breakfast and paid for bed and breakfast and when I went down for breakfast it had finished, should have been told when I checked in, fair enough I also should have double checked and not assumed. Also when I booked there was no mention of a car park charge and yet when I checked out I had to pay for it but again wasn't told when I checked in or on this web site - not happy.

When we arrived we were greeted by a rather grand entrance lobby and nicely designed reception area. The staff were all very friendly towards us especially in the bar/lounge area. We felt very welcome and accommodated throughout our stay and felt the staff would have helped with whatever request we had. The rooms were very clean, tidy and modern with all amenities. I would definitely stay here again. You have to pay £5 to park there and its a bit of a hassle getting out of the carpark onto the main road as the road always seemed incredibly busy!
