This modern hotel with fully refurbished public areas and bedrooms is found in a fantastic town centre location.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the M42 and within walking distance of a shopping and entertainment complex. Holiday Inn Solihull has recently completed a refurbishment programme and now boasts an extremely stylish and contemporary styled interior with 1st class decor for the comfort of guests. A beautiful patio area and garden overlooks a lake and fountain, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Alternatively the health and fitness club provides a range of excellent facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool.

The hotel is just 15 minutes from the NEC. Other nearby attractions includes Cadbury World and Birmingham Sea Life.

There was something for everyone at the buffet breakfast.

We were put into a smoking room without being asked. We did not realise they were allowed to do this. We are both non smokers. I would recommend this hotel but you need to make sure you tell them smoking or non smoking

The hotel was lovely. The bed was a very good size and very comfortable and the shower and bath a dream. However, our experience was spoiled when we arrived at the hotel late Friday evening and the rooms had been moved around so that our party of three was not together as planned. Then to top it all, one of the rooms had not been made up, used towels on the floor and the bed was unmade.

We had to wait approx 30 minutes for the room to be made up for us and were not offered any refreshments whilst we waited. The hotel was lovely and we would stay again as we are hoping that our experience was a one off.

Breakfast buffet style was somewhat disappointing. A fried breakfast cooked to order would have been more appetising. Being charged for using the Hotel car park was unexpected.

The room was pleasant.

My details were incorrect when I got to the hotel. A member of staff took his time and didn't know what to do in this situation. Normally I wouldn't mind but I was very busy on Saturday and needed to be somewhere else a.s.a.p.

Good leisure facilities and plenty of eateries within a 5 minute walk

Staff did not recognise our booking and tried to charge us the full rate for breakfast not the B&B rate
