The bathroom very poor
top floor room/lift out of order ,only for a short time.
On the sea front nice and clean would stay again
Parking was very tight and not many places.Had to pay before we even seen the room
A large, clean spacious room with extras. The view. The cooked breakfast. The hospitality of the staff - very accommodating. Shower in the bath - bath much needed after a walk up Mount Snowdon.
The ceiling of the room.
Just across the road from the seafront.the staff where very helpfull.food very good.
The car parking was very tight.only thing I did not like
Great Location Car parking Nice room
Staff at breakfast rushed and get getting food orders wrong. We had to wait for table We ordered tea and got coffee.
staff was great
the rats in the car park
The location was good - sea front BUT we got a room at the back looking out on to a brick wall and a flat roof that had debris on it! YUK!
The room - pokey at the rear of the building the decor - 30 years out of date the furniture - 30 years out of date the bedroom curtains - thin and shabby/ill fitting the TV - old and out dated the breakfast - had been pre-prepared and kept warm under light before being served common areas - old fashioned and un welcoming I didn't like anything about the place really. Very disappointed.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and the breakfasts were good. The lounge areas were pleasant though the decor could have done with being updated.
It was a pity we didn't have a sea view room as that would have been great. Instead we looked out onto the car park at the back but still that was ok as we didn't spend much time in our room. The room however had seen better days and was very beige and sage green and drab! Just updating bedlinen and curtains would have helped and painting a sunnier colour on the walls. It was a family room when all said and done! And the bathroom needed modernising. The room was very hot due to the weather and it would have been a nice touch to have a fan available to use.
Not enough staff they seemed to be headless chickens with too much to do
double room was very small and basic for price the twin room was better.
small comfortable single room, good view out of window with sea view. Enjoyed hearing the seagulls while relaxing on bed.
no table for my breakfast 9.15 am, had to wait in lounge area for 20 mins while others finished . Staff fine though , polite and courtess. car park at back tight for parking but still off road is always good.
The location on the promenade and the closeness to the town centre. The room was small but overlooked the sea and was clean and comfortable.
The one evening meal we had was horrible. The breakfasts were OK despite the trouble to get eggs with runny yolks.
I think hotel located at a really nice view. Hotel interior is bit outdated they need to update a little bit. But room are quite spacious and clean. I would recommend people this hotel. It was nice to stay in this hotel.
I didn't like the furniture of the room beds were making squeaky noises whenever you move. No wifi anywhere in the hotel.
Location good by easy walk into main town. Entertainment free
Room very poky and very basic no sea view , shower useless, needed a good clean. Not value for money
The view and service were excellent room clean tidy and good size. Breakfast great service
Tv limited outdated service and no wifi or radio in room.
The location was good. The room was clean. The entertainer in the ballroom played lots of 60s, 70s and 80s music which was very easy listening music and he was a very pleasant guy.
The room was very small and the bathroom tiny; it was so small that even the hand basin had to be positioned in the bedroom. We were in room 611 which was on the top floor facing the back of the hotel and the seagulls danced all night on the roof! Car parking is a nightmare because it is so small and to reverse out is a challenge to say the least! To find a space on the promenade is almost impossible, we were on the point of asking for our money back and driving home!! The breakfast was only just warm and the tables hadn`t been cleared from previous occupants. We had to ask for serviettes, teaspoons and toast!!
location, parking, and value for money.
very little entertainment in the evening. Meal arrangements a bit confusing, staff not sure where to allow people to sit although we stayed 3 nights did not have the same table. At times other people where moved from one table to another.
All aspects of our room were very clean, comfortable and roomy. View was excellent. Reception staff very helpful. Would use this hotel again.
Disappointed with evening meal.
Great welcome, fantastic breakfast, excellent location, good value.
Lounges to relax in at anytime, staff in bar friendly
Waiting while staff found your name on different table every morning. Window not closing and sink outside bathroom in bedroom
Very clean. Good location.
Small car park. Poor breakfast. Rooms need updating. Wouldn’t go back.
Staff at reception and bar excellent
Breakfast was cold and staff didn't match the level of staff at reception and bar
Everything about the hotel is very good. Will stay there again next year.
I live in the country,in the Cotswolds. Seagulls at daybreak (4.30 am} are NOT appreciated. This is NOT the Hotels Fault ! !
