Pets allowed. Breakfast.
Seats in room were too small for comfort. Bed a bit hard.
The Location and friendly staff. Breakfast tasty especially yoghurt.
Skirting board in bathroom dusty. Carpet where dressing table stool was, needed hoovering as dusty. Bed very uncomfortable and unfortunately gave me a bad back and required me to go out and buy medication for pain relief.Hotel needs new furniture and bringing up to the 21st century. The lift was very small to get up to room 212 for 2 adults and luggage.
The breakfasts and the view from the lounges. The comfortable bed. Ease of parking.
Location was very good
Thought it was a bit on the exspensive side for the quality of the hotel its self.I think you are paying for its location which is right on the sea front. The hotel needs a bit of a makeover to bring it up to date.
Neat and clean. Plenty of sitting space in the lobby.
Had to rooms booked but didnt get the free parking space as mentioned. Rates were relatively quite lower for walk in customers in other hotels nearby.
Dog-friendly (if expensive at £6 pn.) Perfectly located Got a bit of a car park (goldmine in LLandudno)
Television set useless No bath & tiny shower room Food pre-cooked and always cool. No bar (except in Ballroom) Staff rushing about clearing/re-setting tables adjacent to where I am still eating.
the staff were friendly especially the lady on the bar and the girls doing the breakfast shift could not of been more helpful
not being told we had to order continental breakfast the day before
hotel was ok could do with a lick of paint here and there but overall ok good breakfast
parking a bit tight and room over looking back yard
The position of the hotel was excellent, also the breakfast and the staff were very friendly.
It was expensive for the room that we were allocated, which was a twin, with no view and the bed was very uncomfortable
Polite staff.Food was good
Lift was very small
he Price, position of the Hotel, the views, the breakfasts were excellent, and cooked to ones personal preference. Over all it was a very pleasant experience, I will be going back to stay in the New Year if not before.
Nothing there was nothing to dis-like.
Very small TV. Noise from entertainment from 8.15 onwards evening. Breakfast cold and small. Staff unprofessional.
Sea view great, room comfortable, breakfast nice but a bit repetitive, warm plates would be good as breakfast tended to be cold. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks to friendly helpful staff. Thank you.
view from the window , overlooking the carpark at the back. Waiter swearing, loudly at breakfast. Dated decor
food and service
Location is excellent & room was quiet enough. Very friendly receptionist when checking out.
Credit card payment was decided by receptionist before I arrived - I wanted to pay cash. Being seated right next to the busy kitchen door excluded a peaceful breakfast first thing in the morning...and plate was taken away twice without having finished the meal.
Good location that's about it!
Very small room dated dark bathroom
car park dining room staff
in our third floor room - it is necessary to stand to see out of the window. Sloping floor.
Excellent choice of breakfast
Shame that the plates were cold
Everything. Will definately go back.
The Somerset Hotel is superbly sited on the seafront and our room overlooked the promenade. Interesting old building with genuine art deco features. Staff very helpful.
Nothing particular on this occasion.
Polite staff in dining area ! All areas clean
The lift too small and temper entail
Staff were lovely on arrival, on the second night we asked to be put down for tea that evening, we were told to go to reception, after going to reception they asked us to go back to the dinning room to tell the staff in there. We weren't told it was a set 3 course meal and they didn't have a clue we needed to pay them till we told them.
Great location Staff very helpful and friendly
Room was very small Furniture and bed worn breakfast was poor Evening meal finish too early Breakfast is not server early enough
