The staff were wonderful - very helpful and friendly, all of them. Very responsive to requests for extra pillows, soap etc. The rooms had what we needed. The bathroom was large. We had a wardrobe and chest of drawers to use plus bedside night tables, and a desk, so there was space to unpack our things. Gloucester road underground station is just a short block away as is the V&A musuem, Natural history museum. So is the Waitrose grocery store and a pharmacy. A great locaton! It would be nice to have four dining chairs in an apartment that can fit up to four people. A few more utensils in the kitchen would be nice - strainer, vegetable peeler etc. The street noise was audible with the windows closed. |

Excellent location. Less than 5 mins walk to the train station and supermarket. Many food outlets available around the area. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Can further improve on the furniture provided in the hotel room. |

Convenient location, good facilities including kitchenette to take breakfast etc. Some people were smoking in the patio and the smoke could be felt in the room, they were also making noise at night. |

We had room no. 320 which consisted of two rooms and a bathroom. It was clean, spacious and quite. It worked very well for our family (2 adults and 2 older children). It was less than 5 minutes walk from the subway (circle line, Gloucester Station) and to the Science Museum, Natural History Museum. There were a lot of nice places to have breakfast in which made it a lot cheaper than having breakfast at the hotel. |

Very convenient to stations, museums, shops etc. Great value for money. Having a laundry was good. It was raining - they even lent us an umbrella! We will be staying there again. |

The location and price was reasonable and we woul probably stay there again. The water pressure in the shower was poor and so was the toilet flush. |

Large room/bathroom, kitchenette. Clean. Frontside very noisy due to traffic (2m from street; make sure you get a room at the backside!). Shower broken. |

The room was well set out, comfortable, had facilities for self catering, bed was more than comfortable, evening staff were very helpful. It was more than a nice place to stay, easy access to transport, staff more than obliging. Good part of London, easy access to most interest. Breakfast selection maybe could be expanded, but it is noted that the region does offer alternative sources. The toilet in my room didn't flush properly. |

the location The hotel is way over-rated (4-star) and overpriced. The cleaning staff did not even clean (spent less than 5 minutes in the apartment). The so-called kitchen does not even have a stove. The water pressure in the kitchen was very low, barely enough to wet the glasses. |

I liked the location, near the underground, shops and walking distance to Hyde Park and Imperial college campus. The bathrooms were rather old and the water supply a bit hit and miss. It is also on a main road and the noise from the traffic, police sirens and ambulances was constant during the night. |

The hotel staff members were very very helpful and eager to answer our questions. The big size of the room, well, it was a very nice and modern 2 room apartment. The kitchenette had all we needed to fix breakfast and dinners and everything worked perfectly. Housekeeping was very good too, they did our dishes...thanks!. Free Laundry facilities were a godsend after been touring Europe for two weeks. The location of the hotel was great!, Only a short walking distance from Gloucester tube (open top tour buses stop there too) and nice supermarkets, pubs, internet cafe and places to eat just around the corner. I must say that it exceeded my expectations. We had a very pleasant stay there. I highly recommend it if you´re traveling with children. I did not care that our room was facing the interior of the building or that once in a while we could hear our neighbors. I would have liked more to have a shower than a bathtub because I was traveling with my elderly mother. Besides that, at least for our needs it was perfect. Thanks again to the front desk staff for all the help!. |
