The furniture are very old and need to be change. 5. The main entrance not comfortable because their is many doors in small area. 6. Narrow hall way to walk in. 7. By London standards the rooms are very large. Apartments are very convenient to the tube. Cooktop is a plug in and kitchen is very small - really ok only for tea and toast, cereal etc.

First room I was given was so noisy from the street we didn't sleep whole night. For the second night we have been given another room, which was quieter. Nevertheless 'hotel' is right next to very busy street so there is always a hum of traffic. For 4* place the furniture is pass its glory days, and the overall fit out is more 3* than 4*(especially for kitchen annexes and bathrooms)

Very nice appartments, very clean, nice staff and good location. Shops close by to get bits and pieces for the well equipped kitchen. Would definately stay there again.

The room was quite large and the kitchette was fantastic. It's a great way to stay in one room with the whole family. The street traffic can be quite noisy if you are on a lower floor. If you are used to cities, this is normal. But, if you are from the countryside it will take a day to adjust to the noise of a big city.

The location was excellent, near tube, shops and restaurants.Self catering very useful. We found a used sheet on the sofa bed when we opened it. It was crumpled and hairs were evident. The night manager apologised but we did not receive any apology or follow up from management. Rooms generally clean but poorly maintained, in the bathroom no soap,a broken toilet roll holder, no plug or tea towel in the kitchen, a broken ironing board.

Superb locationfor restraunts, sub-way, museums parks etc. Spacoius double room with adequate cooking facilities. 2 complaints 1 no plug in basin and 2 a dangerously fierce door spring .both speedily addressed Trafic noise and inadequate noise insulation throughout the building.

Location of the hotel, excellent and friendly staff Bathroom was in the bedroom, so the kids had to go to it through our bedroom - whereas on the site it was advertisied that the room is suitable for 4 adults; we are used at staying in apartment hotels and this is the first time we got a room like this. Nevertheless - the rest was fine and we liked our stay there

You feel there like you're at home. You've got everything you need in the room to organize your day as you wish to (microwave, fridge, dishes etc). The hotel is situated perfectly because you've got underground, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner. Just lovely place to stay!

Nice and convenient location - Kensington, Hyde Park - museums, Gloucester Road tube station very close. Very large room for the area. Nice kitchen facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Surprisingly quiet for being on a busy major street. Sleeper sofa - well, it's a sleeper sofa. Works, but not great if you really need a good mattress to sleep - not an issue for our family. Heating in rooms not easy to control in a consistent range.

We arrived early, but were welcomed by staff on arrival and there were facilities to store baggage until later (and again, after checking out at the end of our stay). Room was quiet with comfortable bed and adequate self-catering facilities. Staff responded quickly to call about lack of a sink plug. Apartment is conveniently placed, less than 100 yards from Gloucester Road underground rail station, with good connections to main line rail/coach stations and across London. Supermarket, pubs, restaurants, post office all near station. 5 to 10 minutes walk or direct bus to major museums and a bit further to Harrods, Hyde Park or end of Oxford Street. A second easy chair would have been nice, but not essential.

Good location. The facilities and rooms are very dated and need an upgrade. Room cleanliness and standards were poor - dirty carpets, mould in bathroom. Beds were the most uncomfortable ever experienced. Staff varied between good and poor. Location very good but very poor value for money all in all.

The hotel was good and clean, the location was close to Glouscter tube station. And the bus station was across the road. All in, all, the hotel was good and the location was good. The staff were nice but didn't know much about london. I didn't like that we got a room on the basement as there was no view and it was a bit scary. However the staff was great,. But the front office staff didn't know much about the location of some attractions and how to use the tube efficiently. Which is really bad.

It was one of the only places I could find in London that accepted young children and had separate bedrooms. This meant that we could put the children to bed and then relax in a living room. Tesco and Waitrose are within walking distance and it is almost right next door to the Natural History Museum. The apartments are used by some as long term business accommodation and some residents didn't take kindly to the sound of children having fun.

Cancellation policy (this was the deciding factor for me when making the booking). Accessibility to Heathrow via the tube, simple and within walking distance of the tube. Price was a factor but some cheaper accommodation deals did not have a positive cancellation policy. The receptionist on duty on the 14 October at about 5.30pm and subsequent dealings with the same receptionist was less than expected. She did what she had to do but no more. The receptionist on duty when we returned to Fraser Place on the 19th at 11am was excellent, helpful, efficient and friendly. Hence the mark given on Hotel staff is a reflection on the performance of one staff member. In fact I was not going to rebook at Fraser Place on our return journey because of her. I do not like writing negative comments unless I can offer a solution, but there is insufficient space. I would recommend Fraser Place because of its location and hopefully some staff training is undertaken with staff to up their game for 2012. No Wifi access in room 209 had to sit on steps.

Clean and modern. Comfortable rooms with up to date facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. The location was ideal for shops, museums and tube. Because of the reasonable price and the self catering nature of the studio it was easy to make a trip to London without it costing the earth. Nothing springs to mind but I was only there one night.

Excellent service, staff lovely and helpful. Location perfect, quiet and very comfortable and still very central. Was upgraded to a two-bedroom flat on arrival, these were not avbailable when booked so pleasant surprise! Big and airy apartment, cleaner service brilliant, all conveniences we could possibly need for London stay with three children, including laundry facilities. Close to the museums, park, underground and shops. Would stay there next trip to London!
