- The staff was very friendly and helpful - The room was clean and the bed comfortable - Good Price - Very good location
We had a large ground floor room with 3 double beds for a birthday, night out in london. the room had a lot of space and a huge mirror. Right near baker street station and was perfect for one night. Neat little bathroom and towels were supplied. The receptionist doesnt work at weekends but rang the bell when we arrived. All very happy and great value for money for a night. I wouldnt recommend staying here if you are coming to london for a longer period or if you are expecting amazing standards. Its clean, neat and central.. will definitely return.
Room was quite hot so we wedged the windows open with water bottles for a bit more air. There is a local tesco so we stocked up on drinks. The last person to shower (about mid day) on the day we were leaving felt it going cold. We had room 105! highly recommend for big groups
Great location - handy for Baker Street shops, eateries and Tube station. Ensuite room. Comfy bed. Wifi available (£10 per night) though I did not purchase it.
Breakfast choice very limited and starts serving too late in the day - it needs to be available from 7 a.m.
Location. Checked in and checked out.
Cleanliness, No lock on hotel frontdoor Bathroom door didn't close Curtains falling off. Not the same as the photos Holes in walls Ripped wallpaper Grubby shower curtain
All staff very helpful, hotel was clean & tidy. Towels provided in rooms,
was short on plugs in room as with 5 phones to charge & hair straighteners but found a extention lead.
On arrival, junk and rubbish on the floor in reception. Had to buzz for someone to come and check in who didn't know how to use the card machine and didn't know if I'd paid or not. Exposed wires on wall. No lock on front door of hotel. The room. Ok size. Basic. Toilet was very stained bleach and a scrub doesn't cost much! Bath was stained, hot tap didn't work at all. Shower curtain was dirty. No working fan so small bathroom was a sauna in seconds. Bedding was torn. Woke up with bites to my arms and legs. At least I'd brought pyjamas. I wouldn't stay here again if you were paying me the £85 Booking.com should really consider removal this place The pictures on your website surely count as some kind of trading standards breach.
Very very dirty and shabby
Central location. Comfortable bed. Dining area newly renovated.
Bathroom tiny. Should remove bath and put in a shower. Hardly room to use toilet - good thing we aren't large! No shelves or hooks in the bathroom No bedside light to read by - only bright ceiling lights which were not individually switched.
Didn't have wireless and a cooler
I enjoyed the location of the hotel, being close to Baker Street station made it easy to get around.
There had clearly been some fixing up in our room as most of it, including the bath and toilet were covered in saw dust! There was no back to the bath, and the toilet was not properly bolted to the floor, which meant that every time you sat down you felt like you would fall over and the toilet would come with you. The room was on a slant, which didn't bother me too much, however if you know the room is slanting then at least fix the door to make up for this! We had a gaping whole between the door and the floor, where the hallway light and the noise of other people travelled through very easily! It would have been more quite at a hostel! The staff were lovely, very helpful though! If you don't mind what you are staying in, and need it only to sleep then it's great! Great location! But if you want a decent nights sleep and a properly functioning bathroom, I would look else where... Would never pay that much for such shocking accomodation... Am very upset!
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Hotel was having work done to it but effect on customers was kept to a minimum
Location was good, being within walking distance of marble arch.
The cleanliness was awful, the bed had a spring popping out the top and the window had a hole in in!!!
Position is great.
No ventilaton in the room consequently a strong smell on opening the door even though we left the door open while in the room.
location excellent. continental breakfast ok.room of adequate size
shower wasn't working so had to have a bath. no table in room to put things on.also had to pay cash as card machine not working
I didn't like anything at all was unhygienic and needs shutting down I will be seeking a full refund.
Beds, food, staff, dirty toilet, no hot water in shower, broken flush on toilet, electricity wires everywhere,
noise of other tests late at night
Was close to places
Hotel was dirty, and wasn't safe for children. Work being done ? Even though no work was being done while I stayed. Toilets downstairs was dangerous all wires and leads hanging out the wall, when I mentioned this I was told that them toilets are not in use? On our arrival we were told to use them while waiting for our room, they should of been locked and signed with out of use. All toilets were dirty and stained, showers didn't work, no panel on the bath even though we didn't use it because it would only fit a little child in. My daughters shower didn't even go warm,Our curtains didn't fit the window so didn't close, my daughters room had wires hanging out the ceiling instead of lights. There was never anyone about to explain. It's not a 24 hour desk as told in booking, waited over an hour to get checked in, never saw anyone until we left and had to PAY. There was a room downstairs with a hot drinks machine and where you had breakfast in the morning, toast, cereal, and if I had known what I found out later I would never had eaten anything. Our last night stay we got a take away for all the family ( 6 adults + 6 children) to eat in the so called dinning room. We wanted to get a bin bag to clear all our rubbish. Because no one was about my daughter open a door which was the kitchen. Her face said it all. I went in and was so chocked at what I saw. It was so dirty. The whole placed was covered with rubbish. Dirty plates bowels everywhere. There was even a cat sitting on the side. I felt sick. All of a sudden a man came to the kitchen door, I didn't understand him well but he said I'm not allowed in kitchen. He looked so scared and worried. I'm not surprised. Checking out the next day we told the man on the desk what we saw and thought about everything He said it's getting refurbished. Well the place should be closed until it's done . I've never complained about any of the hotels I've stayed in.
The staff is very helpfull and pleasant. Ok room size Location is in the middle of Baker street and Marylebone tube station, walking distance to Oxford street.
Rooms are outdated, the doors don't go to the floor so you can hear everything. The bed is very very uncomfortable, and the bathroom has a bad smell of damp and mold. There are no hangers for the towels, so we had to keep wet towels on the bed. Although the linen is changed daily they weren't clean. Definitely too high price for such accommodation. Breakfast is very poor. Needs renovation asap!
They had a family room
The toilet was stained the lock on the toilet door was broken the front door to the hotel had no lock and there was no one at reception, so anyone could walk in
- room can accomodate all of us (5 adult 1 child) - approx. 5 min walking distance to Baker Sreet or Marylbone underground station - approx. 5 min walking distance to bus stand (to go to airport)
- the room is at 2nd floor without elevator makes us very hard to carry all those luggage - heater in room not functioning at all
The size of the rooms and style of furnishings.
The carpets were all torn. There were fittings coming off the wall. The breakfast was toast, cereal or yoghurt and not of the best quality. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom. No bin in the room.
Value for money
No cooked breakfast
Staff were helpful and nice.
Jst to noisey as our room was at the front.
Catastrof! The hotel was the most poor i ever been staying at. Breakfast was poor Floods in toilet and shower due to the pump didnt work Broken interior Bed fleas No fire information open entrance door during night no help support from staff More guests was claiming about the poor hotel status!!! The worst hotel experience in my life.
The pictures do not represent the hotel accurately. No radiator in room, no breakfast provided (only after 8.00am) and communal coffee machine broken!!.. room extremely shabby & disappointing.
