Absolutely nothing. I have booked with booking.com before but after staying at this hotel I would reconsider any future reservations. The hotel should be taken off your website. Dirty, noisy, flee ridden carpets, scalding hot water, lack of staff etc.. My companion, who is from the USA, said it was the worst accommodation he had stayed in, and he has travelled throughour south america & asia, so that says it all. A truley miserable experience. Get it sorted asap before you lose any more valued custom

Unfortunatlely the hotel had recently been taken over and going through renovation stages. The room which we stayed in, had 2 out of the 5 lights working, the bathroom lights were useless, 1/3 worked. The toilet seat was cheap and broken. The door frame had a 2"gap around the bottom, thus allowing all light and noise to enter in. Since the ban of none smoking was implemented in all public areas, you would expect that the hotel rooms, would therefore be smoke free. Apparently not, the corridor which our room was located on,stank highly of cigarette smoke. When we informed the hotel staff, we were made to feel incompetent, in that the cigarette smoke was coming from outside!! Breakfast was sold to us as a continental buffet, but it was quiet the opposite!!! The coffee was from a disfunctional coffee machine, and the cereal was all stale. We thought the toast might be an improvement, but again a disappointment. After the poor state of breakfast, we decided to stay no longer, left the hotel and found a more worthy breakfast. On conculsion of the somerset hotel, I feel that in our opinion the hotel fell far below the standards of a British hotel and was not worthy of receiveing any stars of good standard.

Helpful friendly staff Efforts are being made to improve the hotel and bearing in mind it is inexpensive it was accepatable It is a shame the improvements are being done on a budget as it is a lovely building and could be made much more appealing, the old stained mattress wedged against our room door was not very appealing and the breakfast was obviously a budget breakfast! Also the plumbing was very lively lots of gurgling etc

This hotel was great for what we needed - just somewhere to put our heads down. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful. Our tv wasn't working but they went to great lengths to get it fixed. It's a bit unfinished. Some holes in places and half decorated but it was easy to see that it was getting new carpet and redecorated.

It was the worst hotel that we have ever stayed. The rooms, the bathroom was really bad. There were no towels even there was a used soap in the bathroom. There were two taps 1 for cold water the other one for hot. So when you would like to get warm water it seems not possible. So I really do not recommend this hotel. The worst I have ever been.

The only saving grace of this very very "shabby chic" was the linen was clean and the shower hot! I have nothing nice to say other than the above! There is a travelode 2 mins away! Stay there, at least you get value for money and a hot breakfast

In the room, the television didn't work, the toilet was a macerator that didn't flush properly and even when it did it left awful smells in the room and handles were hanging loose from the door. The price was £115 for a double room which was disgustingly overpriced. There is no lift, not a big problem for us, however virtually every stair had black tape over the frayed edges of the carpet. We were at éeast looking forward to a saving grace of breakfast. However that consisted of three empty bowls of cereals that we had to wait half an hour for a person to appear to refill them. And there were no spoons. The only other option was a loaf of white bread, but the packet was empty.I Would never stay there again. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in by some margin!

The location is very good and that is the only one advantage of this hotel. The room is very poor equipped, the carpet is old and dirty, curtain with holes on it. The bathroom is terrible, with old tiles and dirty shower curtain. You can hear the noise from other rooms, there is no staff on the reception. The dining tables are not very clean and breakfast includes 3 kinds of corn flakes, milk, yogurt, juice, coffee, toast, butter, cheap marmalade and chocolate cream. Value for money is very law and I would strongly recommend to avoid this terrible hotel.

Close to the tube station Upon arriving at the hotel there was no staff present, we had to use the phone on reception to call for someone as a sign on the counter informed us to do. It took 15-20 mins for someone to come and register us. It took a further 10 mins for the woman to find our reservation which she tried to tell us wasnt there! In our room were two ledges, above the door and bathroom, which had not been cleaned at all. There was dust, dirt and builders tools laying on them. The carpet in our room hadnt even been hoovered for our arival which u would expect when check out is 10am and check in is 3pm. There was a choice of cerial or toast for breakfast, although no fridge so the milk was left out on the table during breakfast from 7am till 9.30am. There was no ketel, only a machine which made badly tasting coffee. We were woken early in the morning by drilling noises. There is no phone in the room to phone reception to complain, and there was no one on reception at all. Infact after being checked in we saw no staff at all for the rest of the day, night and next morning!

room was a reasonable size and bed was quite confortable. plumbing was very noisy, curtains didn't fir the window, but worst thing was the breakfast or lack of it. Some white sliced bread in a bread bin not in wrapper, by a toaster, some large bowls of cereals, tea bags which tasted like they were made from florr shavings. The woman who should have been helping or serving just topped up the things then sat down on a chair and read a book, not explaining to anyone where things were and what to do.

Goed en vriendelijk personeel. Ik vond het heel netjes dat wij onze bagage de hele dag in het hotel konden achterlaten ook vóór en nà inchecken/uitchecken. Bed was minder comfortabel.

Dålig standard, gula fläckar i taket osv.
