The location was good for what I needed and eating out for restaurants location was good
The room was on top floor hotel had no lift and there were creatures in the bed and in bathroom also the shower encloses was old and no hot water first thing in mornings breakfast was poor
Stairs bathroom to small bed uncomfortable
Exellent Location Helpful service Comfortable beds
Too much noise from the street No vantilation in bathroom Poor breakfast
Was very dirty and unconfortable. Old matrasses. Noisy. No free-wiffi. Micro tv in the rooms. Room cleaning service very poor. They don't clean the toilettes. Breakfast terrible.
Bathroom could do with updating
Location, staff at reception
Noisy traffic early in the morning.
Formal complaint sent to hotel, with a follow up email and a letter sent by recorded delivery. All attempts at seeking compensation blatantly ignored. Formal complaint also sent to Booking.com who should not be endorsing this hotel.
Feeling is ok, just ok. Coz it is very cleaning.
The room is too small, and just can move in after 3pm.
On the whole it was great value and clean.
Unfortunately it was let down by having a very small bathroom for six people when there was enough space in the room to make it bigger, and a bit of TLC around the edges would bring the standards up.
This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I cannot believe that Booking.com lists it.
Good for one night stay. Location was near tube stations. Area was quiet during the night.
Huge gap under room door, no end panel on bath, shower curtain pole dangling from wall, curtain not covering whole window, awful coffee, one thin pillow.
Location to Marylebone station and underground. Happy to look after luggage after checkout.
Room was terrible. Bathroom was incredibly small. Pillows were dreadful. Had to ask for toilet paper. Curtains did not close to keep light out. Toilet was filthy.
TV, Towel & Toiletries Supplied, Location, 1 member of staff I met was polite.
Metal edge sticking out on door, no hanging space or coat hook or chair, or tea/coffee facilities in room. Dirty bathroom, tiled bathroom floor but no floor mat to reduce risk of slipping, low ceiling in shower and narrow cubicle, narrow bed, very small pillow, less than 3 feet between pillow and toilet seat. No noise consideration from other guests up to 3:30am.
The hotel is in a great location. It is a bit quirky in that many things are unfinished. New locks on the doors but the old ones are still partly their, that sort of thing.
The hotel is based right next to Baker street, only a stones throw from the nearest tube station and with lots of amenities close by. Although the list of things I didn't like is very long and the hotel is very shabby and poorly ran - The price was very cheap for the location! (Around £130 for 5 people per night) So, even though the Hotel is not even 1 star in my opinion, it is good value if you're only going for one night out in London! (As we spent about 1 hour there other than sleeping)
-Hotel very warm so all windows open - which means very noisy traffic going past all night long! -Reception not manned when arrived and took a while for someone to arrive who looked very disinterested in being there. -Decoration, Although it looks like they tried, the decor is falling to bits and poorly fitted. -Cleanliness is not great - Although no bed bugs found, the toilet was disgusting! -Toilet lock broken so if you managed to lock it, you got stuck inside. -Curtain pole fell off when trying to shut the curtains. -One socket on the wall was very loose fitting.
Location, beds were comfortable
no free wifi, no mirror in the room
Everything The room wasn't made up for us
Staff were at hand and helpful when needed. Room was basic but nice hot shower. Good location for the tube not far from madam tussauds. Reasonable price for the amount of people. Clean sheets
No air conditioning and only one opening window. Close to a fairly busy road and was hot with a large family staying in room in August, traffic passing by all night. No tea and coffee facilities in the room but access to them in the basement wherebreakfast was served. Not much choice for continental breakfast, toast or basic cereal and a bowl of tinned fruit but enough until you can get food in London. Beds really uncomfortable.
No hot water carpet in room not fitted,so you could catch your foot on sharp pins around outside
Spacious, clean, great location, great breakfast room and food, service great
Rooms got quite stuffy despite size and couldn't open the windows to allow fresh air in, no free wifi, no bar fridge.
As we walked into the Somerset hotel we were warmly welcomed by a member of staff, all questions and needs were met and everything was great! Until we got into the room.
1st room: very small, very dark, en suite was not to a good standard and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months!! So we asked for a different room, which we got! Room 2: room was bigger, bathroom was actually decorated, although the bathroom door didn't gave a handle and had punch and kick dents in the door and there was a plug that hadn't been fitted. We paid £90 for this hotel. We didn't even get a cooked breakfast!! It was 2 choices of cereal or a slice of toast. Which we had to get ourselves. As we spoke to people we met on boat trips and members of the public we met, a lady had said she had to leave early due to bed bugs. The staff are very convincing and it seems very professional but im surprised the place hasn't been looked into for a health hazard.
everything, especially the bathroom, the tub is wonderful, and shower is warm enough to help me relax.super close to the sherlock's home!
Lack of tea making facilities. Lack of phone Lack of Lift as we had to walk up four flights of stairs Not very clean Two cracked windows and curtain hanging off
Location Size of room Staff
Very poor choice for breakfast, cereal or white toast
