Location is good for central attractions and stations, staff are helpful and apartments are spacious with all necessities. Hotel is opposite night clubs so very noisy til 2/3am during week and some rooms look out onto a carpark so their lights keep your room brightly lit all night. Plus, from 5am you have people moving their cars. Beds are not comfortable and bedding is poor quality... Pillows are practically squares of foam. Internet costs £12 for 24hours with is extortionate as not mentioned until you get into your room and isn't WiFi - instead you have to make do with wired connection. Hot water ran out with a bath less than 1/3rd full.

The facilities (except this during this stay, I had to switch rooms 3 times due to facilities not working properly). There is no contest in terms of staying at a hotel and staying in an apartment. The overall stay was fine except the inconvenience of having to switch rooms. I am sure this was a one off but the actual quality of rooms are beginning to feel a little dated in some areas. Checkout at possibly 12pm would be a major bonus instead of the current 11am checkout time

Location and luxury for the price was perfect, everything we needed was provided at the room. The flats were fully furnished just like a couple studio with a desk tv kitchen with so many lights which I like in a hotel room

Me and my best friend use to live in Manchester so visit every couple of months. So we decided to treat oursleves to a night in an apartment and had a wonderful time. The staff where friendly and laid back which I have not found to be the case with other apartment companies. They let me drop of my bag in reception before we checked in later and we where also able to have a few friends round before we headed out on the town. We were able to pretend that we lived there for the night like old times and just had so much fun! Thank you Atrium we will be back no doubt : )

The facilities in the apartment were excellent and it was clean and the living area was spacious, kitchen galley was well equipped The bathroom was really small and if you were a large person you would have a tight squeeze to get behind the sink to use the loo. Was woken a few times in the night by traffic noise but more by people shouting and screaming leaving the surrounding night clubs

This is the second time I have stayed at Atrium. I rate it very highly. Nice if you have a one bedroom place to have separate sitting room. Good for business trips and to hold meetings in sitting room. The sitting rooms have no secondary glazing and being a city this means there is excessive noise and cold draft. Atrium needs to put in place secondary glazing. Secondary glazing is in the bedrooms and so the rooms are cosy and quiet and do better than the sitting rooms. The glazing is the only problem I encountered on two occasions in separate apartments. This does not put me off staying again though.

When we got there we got upgraded to a beautiful room - without extra cost. Very clean , roomy and reception staff were very helpful and courtious Possibly a local taxi company could be connected to the hotel to ring when you arrived at Manchester Piccaddilly Railway Station .....we were ripped off by taxi driver who went the long way round.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always my first choice if I am travelling to Manchester. Clean, comfortable, central location and always great rooms at reasonable prices. Never (to date) had a bad stay there. The in room TV's could do witha technology refresh. They are looking a bit dated and the picture quality is starting to flag.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and very good value. Very, very minor issue - tv channels not set up properly i.e 1,2,3,4 ... as BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Ch4 etc!

Closeness to city centre and feeling of independence. Disgusting rotten(canal mud?) smell in the lift. Lack of microwave in kitchen.

The staff are extermely friendly and try their best to help. The location for Canal Street is excellent. The room is excellent size and very comfortable. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, I love staying here, but on this occasion a few things didn't stand up to previous experiences. There was quite a large gap underneath the door, which meant at night I had to cover it with a spare pillow to stop the light coming through and to try and stop the very clear sounds everytime someone walked passed. Also there was a cob web on the wall. To flush the toilet you had to pump it a few times for it to flush enough to carry anything anyway, which isn't great. All that taken in to account, I will stay here again, I love the location, and previous rooms have been excellent.

Staff were very accomondating and did their best to make our stay a good one. The location of the apartment was second to none. The apartment was very cheap for its size and location. The living room didn't appear overly clean. Probably because they have white sofas and white walls.

Supposed to be serviced apartments, but have to pay to get it done. Sofa bed for the children....very uncomfortable, and other facilites such as T.V.... old age. Pub nearby.... Have noises all night long. Parking.... Very expensive. Reception... People with attitude. Cleanliness.... Very untidy. It's like staying in a fortress, lot's of doors and like a maze to get to your room. Definitely not worth the amount they are charging.

“Location is excellent, right in the centre of town and only a few minutes walk from the Arndale Centre and the bars of Canal St. Good breakfast, a wide selection of hot and cold food, and the bar staff are friendly, though the drinks prices are high.” James, Solihull |
