Overall the stay wasn't too bad. We did however have a small room and by small I mean you walk in the door and its a couple feet to your bed,the bathroom was tiny with a small sign saying mind your step, I tripped over that step multiple times. If you want to move around in the shower, good luck, its tiny. When we arrived, there was 2 cups, tea, coffee, sugar and milk laid out for us so we had a cup of tea, however the milk was stale so we bought our own. The table was unstable, only 1 light worked (you will also tell only one light in the reception works aswell) however our lamp worked but it was clearly on its last legs. The bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in, on the inside parts of the bottom door were missing. The shelf was hanging of the wall. One of the plug sockets, don't go near, it sparks. We only had breakfast once there, there was 2 choices of cereal, cornflakes and what looked like chocolate cornflakes? Tasted stale to me but my partner had toast which he said tasted fine. Our radiator made funny noises at night.Yes, there was a few minor problems but considering the price and the location I'd happily stay again. A few minor improvements and this hotel can be 10x better. Screw the shelf back in, get some new light bulbs, fix the table, new lamp, fix the plug sockets and door, decent food and you've got a fairly decent hotel. I'd recomend this hotel, if you're fine with these minor errors and a small room, this is your hotel. Its not the best but it could be a lot worse. If you're on a budget go for this hotel. Besides that was our room. (304) top floor. The others might not be too bad. It may seem bad but are you really going on holiday for the hotel? It was just a place to stay for us, we were hardly ever in there. Plus you've got a great view. Good luck guys, london's amazing! I'd post pictures but I can't. Its not as bad as everyone makes out. Trust me! :)
Staff were very friendly. Good location. Close to many great shopping centres etc. Oxford street, regent street. Many local shops nearby. About 1 hour walk to trafalgar square. Wifi included. We got a double room with a private bathroom. Room service (which we didn't expect) there was a rail for you to hang your clothes on, a tv, table etc. Stayed for 4 nights would happily stay again. Paid £135 not bad considering all the negative reviews I read. If you're looking for a cheap hotel in a great location this is the hotel for you!
