Soprano St Magnus Court HotelGuild Street, AB11 6NF Aberdeen (Show map) Good, Score from 316 reviews“Lovely room . We stayed in the Passionata Suite and had view of the harbour. Reason for our trip was our Ruby wedding and convenience as we were booked on Orient Express trip from aberdeen station which was just accross the road. We ate in the hotel and food was exceptional and staff very attentive and friendly.”

The staff were all really helpful and friendly. My luggage had been lost at the airport and they were very accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was great. Perfect for an overnight work trip.

Location across street from train and bus stations and shopping mall very convenient. Room clean and quite adequate for our one night's stay. Restaurant on first level was convenient and the included breakfast very well-rounded. Staff tried very hard to help us make an Internet connection, however my Android tablet was unable to connect. Staff showed much patience in trying to give directions to alternate locations. Flight of stairs to reach reception slightly inconvenient for our heavy luggage. (However, when staff saw our difficulty our room was changed to the lowest level available.)

Staff were friendly and I was allocated a fairly spacious double room, though I had booked and paid for a single. My son joined me for breakfast on one morning. It was no problem to staff and the additional charge was a very fair £7.50.

The decorative style. Food. Lack of shelving at the wash-hand basin. Lack of water pressure (room in the attic). Tiny wardrobe.

Really enjoyed the location and convenience to the train station and Union Street in Aberdeen. Our receptionist, Roneta, who also served in the restaurant, was very pleasant. She was able to extend our check out time, which was very much apprecaiated, when the orignial desk clerk was not flexible at all. Overall, a very good experience and would stay there again.

We usually stay at the station hotel but as it was full we decided to stay at sopranos which is just along ,we were not disppointed with our choice though, the room was comfortable the bed excellent ,breakfast was plentiful with plenty to choose from.the cooked breakfast was very tasty well presented.we will definitely stay again providing we can have first or second floor rooms as there is no lift for older people, however this was the only drawback. There was no lift

Good location. Quiet. Very very poor bathroom. Holes in the wall of bathroom which looked out into fire escape and made bathroom very cold. Pour shower... not pleasant or relaxing. Expensive for what was provided. Poorly finished decor and furnishings. Set not 3 or 4 star as advertised. Breakfast wad far too early for a weekend.

Good location and friendly staff. Very strking decor though not to my taste - found it a bit over the the top. My room at the front of the hotel was very noisy through the old sash windows and suggest some secondary glazing might be appropriate. Water into the shower no more than luke warm. Overall a bit disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely!overall an enjoyable stay although I dont think it represented value for money if you were to pay full price.....we paid under half price so felt it was very good value at that rate! The only thing I didn't like was the overall decorating standard of the room....bathroom and bedroom both looked very slapdash but it is hard with these old buildings to get it right!the hallways were stunning and if they did the rooms similar to this it would be more special!!

Liked the Design of Bar Rooms Comfortable & Everything you requirefor Solo Business Traveller Near to the 727 Jet Bus Station for getting to Airport Price ( unfortunately did not have time to have Breakfast ) Nothing really, but just two Minor Issues Lots of Stairs to Climb & Corridors to walk round if you are on top floor as I was - but was good for exercise - would not like to be carrying lots of suitcases though. My room was quiet from Street Noise, but had noise from Condensers . No View out of Window from my room. ( dark when I arrived and Dark when I left so on this occasion did not matter too much - but I think could make you feel claustrophobic in summer )

Good location, just across the bus and train station. Nice building, rooms, breakfast and restaurant. Friendly staff. Expensive wifi, no shower gel and etc in the bath, no control that everything is working properly - one lamp was burnt out and it wasn't fixed till the end of my stay.

Very friendly staff and lovely looking hotel. Fantastic locaton for train and bus stations, as well as town centre. The room was very noisy due to busy bus route, making sleeping difficult at times. The hot water took 8 minutes to reach temperature. £10 for 24hours internet access in this day and age!!!!

Although only there for 1 night we found the staff friendly. Very central location and close to train and bus stations. The restaraunt in the hotel is an excellent standard and we got 10% off an evening meal. It looks as though the room had been decorated with good furniture and fittings but some cowboy and actually fitted them. Also the bed wasn't the greatest but ok for 1 night.
