centrally situated, friendly staff, large comfortable room, very reasonable priced. also had excellent meal in bar/bistro

close to main road, breakfast served til 9.30am even on sunday. partition to ajoining room not soundproofed. wakened by next door pnone ringing at 6.30am

There was nothing to like about this hotel - it was so bad I checked out early and lost several hundred pounds as the rooms had to be paid in full on checking in

I didn't like the fact that there were so many stairs to climb to reach the reception area, nor that there was no lift and I didn't like the fact that there was no telephone in the rooms, nor was there a public telephone available in the hotel. I didn't like the room nor the state of repair of some of the fittings.

Close to station and bus station and Union Square shops

Only one staff member on duty in morning to act as waitress in restaurant and man reception combined (and in evening, reception was also absent at times as receptionist went out for a cigaratte). No ability to leave left luggage or order taxi on checking-out meaning I had to take it with me. Classed as 4-star but this is not appropriate - nearer the 3 or even 2 star mark. Decor very garish and room had broken floor tiles andwas not that clean. Will not stay there again.

My wife and I stayed in a double room, the room was small the ensuite was small, no fan extracton, shower was pathetic, would not stay here again.

nothing really good to mentioned about, eccept the few good staff working in the hotel.

When I did the reservation, it was based on the hotel category, however, it showed 4 star hotel, while the fact it is not more than 2 star hotel, really we don’t know how it was rated as 4 stars??!! The bed matrices was very bad, even the springs of the matrices were absorbed. No comfortable sleep at all. The windows are leaking the air all the day. Even I have paid extra for a superior room, but, the noise of next guest room was so high (no isolation between the room), moreover, there was a big wooden door between my room and the other room, where I could hear every single words from other guest. No facilities at the hotel at all, even the reception was only a small desk. I was really chocked out of the hotel. I have tried to cancel it, but they already charged me in advance.

I thought the hotel was very good value. The evening meal we had there was also very good and the hotel staff were really helpfull. There was also a 10% discount on the meal as we were staying at the hotel. The hotel was convenienty situated for the train and bus stations and the major shopping areas in the city centre. There were also lots of bars and restaurants in close proximity for us to visit. I would definitly use the hotel again on my next trip to Aberdeen.

Very very poor bathroom. Holes in the wall of bathroom which looked out into fire escape and made bathroom very cold. Pour shower... not pleasant or relaxing. Expensive for what was provided. Poorly finished decor and furnishings. Set not 3 or 4 star as advertised. Breakfast wad far too early for a weekend.

Clean and nice room. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast in the morning.

Comfy bed. Spacious room. Nice breakfast. Value for Money. Clean

No lift, but if you know that before you go then this minor issue can be ignored.
